| Manga is pretty fast paced, so I like they took their time with anime's pacing. And those anime-only scenes are soo good and blend in naturally. Btw I think the opening song could be the one they will perform on the stage. |

| I was feeling myself almost about to broke in tears during all the episode. About the intesity of the chapter I may say it was much more struggle the release of his own real emotions by Uenoyama in the manga than anime in my opinion. |

| This is the most peaceful episode. Visiting all these places Mafuyu probably faced his past was amazing. |

| I really enjoyed this episode, watching Mafuyu wandering around, thinking and reflecting on the lyrics and his past. It felt bittersweet. The animation and sound design felt perfect and set the tone of inner exploration |

| “I was just trying to make conversation.” Ah yes. I, too, accuse people of causing the deaths of their loved ones in order to pass the time. Kinda chuckled at the end when he was jealous. Like, I get you can’t help if you’re jealous, but bro, his boyfriend’s dead. I don’t necessarily disagree with the comment about this largely being popular because it’s BL. I mean, I was looking for some BL when I found this since there’s basically no good GL and the only BL anime I’ve seen have had a lot of sexual harassment and dubious consent and goddammit I need healthy LGBTQ representation. Yeah, for some people that’s the driving force to watch it. I still don’t think it’d be a bomb if it weren’t a BL, though. As I said in a previous post, I get very strong Your Lie In April vibes from this anime. And while I got bored at some points in Your Lie In April and it gets critique about the manic pixie dream girl trope, I overall enjoyed it. “X is only popular because Y” is probably something you could argue with a lot of series. |
