| The genre listing doesn't mean anything imo. There's no guarantee, but romance is still possible. I'm going to guess there'll be a ToiEnta or Toi/Enta/Kazuki end. You could even have a romantic end of the three, since this is Ikuhara and he pushes boundaries. Platonic ending is possible, but honestly Sarazanmai is so romance focused and based around desire that I think the ending will involve romance too. Not just Reo and Mabu's, either. |
| @Tsukizono I just think their placement is so blatant that I think its less likely, especially since Toi seems to constantly be watching out for Enta - scaring off the bullies, constantly reaching out to him and clearly watching him subtlely and probing for his feelings in many scenes. I think the really big component of why I feel ToiEnta is more likely is that, while Kazuki seems to really like Toi, Toi seems to have some complicated feelings about Kazuki that he hasn't brought up - plus, he has basically said he resents the way Kazuki treats Enta. Since Toi seems so much more focused on Enta vs Kazuki, it's hard to imagine an end for me where that's not addressed. I think that's because Kazuki is blatant about liking Toi, and Enta is blatant about liking Kazuki, but Toi clearly has more to explore with his appreciation for Enta especially with recent events. I saw someone jokingly talk about colour theory and how Enta is the only one who has eyes that don't match his colour scheme. Yellow + blue = green. So you can interpret a lot based off the colours, imo. That said, all three of them are primary colours so that could even signal a 3pair end. Honestly, that's what symbolism has suggested the most, right from the commercials. Seeing as Ikuhara, it's not impossible. I think Toi/Kazu has the issue for me that there... isn't much to resolve except for the fact it seems Toi is more concerned about Enta. I know Ikuhara is good at character writing though, so if it was endgame he'd make it interesting. It's more intuition, I suppose. I just feel ToiEnta is where this is leading - especially after Enta's comment last episode: "Since when do you care about me?" <- Toi has been watching Enta all this time and concerned over him. That's obvious from a viewer perspective. How does Enta's perspective change when he realizes this? Edit: Plus Ikuhara likes suprises, that, while still 'surprising' don't come out of nowhere. I feel that's true here. I also think Toi/Kazu have more history than shown as of right now, but I don't think that's mutually exclusive either. I'm curious how that turns out |
| Probably. Episode 8 of Sarazanmai reminded me a lot of episode 11 of Yuri Kuma Arashi, and it looks like is going into that direction. |
Maybe this is a good place to post this after watching episode eight but I noticed that, too. |
