What do you think about Saintia Shou's trailer?
| Recently we could finally see Saint Seiya: Saintia Shou's trailer. What are your oppinions about it? Feel free to vote in the poll. For me, the art looks good. It felt awkward at first (I mean, not bad, just... different), but later on I got used to it and I can say it looks quite good. In some moments even very good. I'm worried a bit about the animation, though. I wouldn't want it to look wooden or too much static, especially with this good artstyle. When I was watching this trailer, I had a feeling that Saintia Shou's gonna have atmosphere composed of Saint Seiya as a main theme (which is obvious) and Sailor Moon elements. The art reminded me about Sailor Moon, plus we have an anime that is focused on girls with superpowers. In my oppinion that kind of mix will be interesting to watch, both as an anime and as new Saint Seiya which is my favourite anime. Oh, and we were able to learn one more thing. Saintia Shou's is going to be released on 24th December. On MAL we could read that it's gonna be out on 10th December, so the release date was postponed by 2 weeks. edit: According to what was said later in this thread, everything is okay. Official online release date is on 10th December 2018, while the TV broadcast on Animax begins on 24th December 2018. Thank you, tsubasalover! :) |

| Looks good and as dramatic as a Saint Seiya series should look like, but I'm still pretty sad that they chose the usual style over the beautiful art style of the manga. |
