| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Another good "let's discover the nice Ayukawa" chapter. Reading the manga helps me to notice how good the direction of the anime was at times: in this particular episode, the TV show offers a far prettier moment for the Ayukawa leaning on Kyôsuke scene. 4/5 |

| I started reading this after finishing the anime. I guess that takes care of volume 1? I'm surprised to see how much content the anime adds just to make the earlier chapters longer. They never felt like filler to me and I think most changes made the story better. Like Madoka going out with master instead of her father and her wanting to stay over at Kyosuke's house was better in the anime. There was also the delinquent fight scene in episode 1. And Hikaru visiting Kyosuke for being sick after the failed date etc. But after around the halfway point of the anime I imagine they started cutting manga chapters and kept adding filler episodes like an episodic series. Why couldn’t the rest of the series be more like the earlier episodes? I'm sorry this is supposed to be a manga discussion forum but I ended up whining about the anime adaptation instead. |
