| First yuri anime I don't love in a while. I actually love the manga! This adaptation was just disappointing, idk... The drama was exaggerated by far. Character development was so.... plain. Oh well, I can see why it won't have a second season :/ I wholeheartedly support the idea of a complete remake, the art, story, dialogue, etc were subpar. |

| It ended pretty much how we all expected it to end, no surprise there. But the last scene reminded me, why was this called "Citrus" in the first place? Overall a pretty disappointing romance show. The whole premise was pretty flawed from the very first episode actually. Yuzu's mum is the big loser in this, her new man basically just got rid of his annoying child with her and comes home twice a year or something lol The worst part was that the author only had two tricks to stir up drama: Make one of the two parties retreat once the other one gets serious and introduce another love rival for one of them. We saw this three times in 12 episodes... The best girl title obviously goes to Harumin, that's not even up for debate. 4/10 |
