| Damn, you guys must stop pushing your desire against every animes genre to had a romance plot, sighed. This masterpiece shall be better with drama and Shogi only. At the end, its okay to adding Rei conclusion about his lover. But not good for their main story progression. Enough with relationship fetish and desire toward Hina, Akari, or even Kyokou. Let Rei finished his school and Shogi career and talk about his relation far at the end. Please be like that, and i will enjoy this series more (PS, i dont read Manga, i prefer to be the anime only watcher instead) |

| Before Season 3, I saw them as great siblings more than lovers. BUT, provided that I had known beforehand what had happened so far in the manga(despite me being an anime-only guy), and also the fact that their moments together warm my heart more than any other things, I guess I have no reason to refuse accepting them as a couple. BUT the main reason I love them as a couple is due to my ANTICIPATION on the story author. The author DID A REALLY GREAT JOB in using the BEST, SMOOTHEST, MOST BEAUTIFUL plot to develop the relationship between Hina and Rei. Before watching Season 2, I still can't believe how the plot(up until Season 1) is going to turn the relationship between Hina and Rei into the next level(with reasonableness of course). After finishing the Season 2 Bully Arc, I was REALLY & TRULY fascinated by how the author made their relationship into the next level using such a really NEARLY PERFECT plot. So what my true anticipation is to see how at this point(before Season 3) will the author write the BEST PLOT that will make "Hina and Rei become a couple" a very reasonable and BEAUTIFUL thing, by continuing from the plot of Season 2(starting when Hina cut her hair short). |

| As for me, I wish the plot would have stayed aromantic because it was so much better. Hina is way too young for rei and him falling for her is really weird. I dont ship him with anyone, the girls seem more like siblings and although he appears to harbor feelings for his step-sis, that relationship is toxic af. I actually thought that the scene where stepsis contemplates which of the sisters he might be interested in was a good way of telling the audience he wasn't supposed to end up with any of them. I am saddened that this doesnt appear to be the direction the mangaka went. |

For example Rei X Hina is so simple,cliched and easy to progress but Rei X Kyouko/Akari is more interesting,Different and more engaging to the viewers. But I dont think the author will take a risky route like Rei X Kyouko/Akari as the world is filled with simpletons . |

| Sorry, but i disagree. they relationship is more like a sibling rather than a couple, from the development and the story it is very clear that author make it as more like a "shinyuu" or a family. Instead, i prefer rei becomes a couple with her step sister kyouko. update. i havent read the manga, but yeah i still prefer rei x kyouko |

| The dynamic between those two was by far the best thing about the show. But the obvious romantic tension between Rei and Kyouko was interesting too. I'd like to see both of those plot threads explored further and less of the old men and their gastric problems. |

| it is not like i won't support it if it becomes cannon but currently their relationship isn't fully decided, it can go both in the romantic side and the sibling side. i won't mind either, i'm leaving everything up to the author. also kyouko x rei is also interesting but their reltionship would probably be toxic af. out of all the women, hina x rei is the most probable. i mean he already loved her (i think). |
