| His dad is definitely one sort of a complete moron.... This episode was much more interesting than other ones, for once we had multiple locations this time :) I like how his instructor was shaking the shit out of him to get the liquid out, but then when he realized its no use and the liquid will stay there, was like fuck it, there is more trouble from it anyway xD At lest it seems his friend is determined to become stronger. And he met his grey-haired childhoog friend <333 and that embrace <33 but then she was protecting her father still, this girl is no traitor to anyone, she wants peace. BEST GIRL CONFIRMED... |

| @Hirugiku I mean, his dad is caring and looking for his son, not sure how that makes him a moron when the rich and powerful are happy to abandon the weak. As a parent who has sacrificed everything for his son, it matches his character to not care about himself and go looking for his son. That said, why he never mentions his paralyzed daughter, almost makes me think like the daughter was an after-thought, added later to give MC some more emotional touch. Also, at this point, that Zhang Xiaohou kid, MC's best friend, he has had a better character arc going on than the MC himself. MC remains useless, weak, despite getting every edge possible in life compared to the others. Not only MC's dad sacrificed everything, even his pride, to get the loser into mage school, but MC has a cheat medallion giving him boost constantly during training. And now, he drank an entire spring.. somehow, which doesn't make sense but according to anime logic, it should've given him power boost or diarrhea at-least, but the fucker is casually walking around with nothing going on so far. I am guessing MC's cheat mode will get enabled again to give birth to another mediocre power inside of him, thanks to the toilet water he drank, in the next few episodes. I like how the MC didn't even offer to fight the big-bad, he just doesn't give a shit unless it isn't giving him more mediocre power-ups. What a fuckwit. PS: To the comment about unrealistic building damage and safe zone location, yeah, nothing makes sense. The city's design is incredible stupid. In some scenes I noticed how random trees placed at roadside, which would block the path and block view of houses next to the road. They were placed almost as if someone just wanted to populate the world in a hurry, not giving a shit about how it looked if someone spend more than a few seconds staring at the backgrounds. The safezone is as retarded as the mages guarding the whole city.. outside of the city kilometers away, no one guarding the actual fucking city but random mercenaries. If this is based on a manga, not sure if we should blame the writer for stupid shit like this or the director for not fixing it. |
