So.... we get a brief blurb at the very end on how feminism is crucial in the context of Ancient China, huh? Yea.............

On a more serious note, I am fascinated with how this 2-episode arc was constructed. The buildup, the intertwining character dynamics, and the climax is simply superb. And the animation shift near the end left me speechless. A forlorn Lu Bu trudging out of the collapsing palace, a lifeless Diao Chan, impaled with a knife, in his arms, will continue to resonate with me long after I conplete this show.

(My soul will never rest in peace until I discover who Dong Zhou's seiyuu is. His voice is nothing short of a masterpiece in itself)
