| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Wow! The last chapter is dedicated to Mikasa and Annie’s conversation, when the two were training. The year 850 in Wall Sheena, the Trost District… This time-skip caught me off-guard! It was sad to start off this chapter, with Mikasa telling Annie, “please, fall” and she did, with such a shocked expression… :( Oh no! >< Mikasa found Annie’s ring, which she dropped when they had hand-to-hand combat training… And Mikasa discovered the little knife in the ring. :/ We just couldn’t have a peaceful moment of only Annie peeling potatoes… Although, Mikasa was right: Annie would not need her ring for self-defence, since her martial arts skills are so great. However, Annie had a good lie about her parents giving her the ring for self-defence, even if it’s useless – the ring may be from Annie’s parents, so this may have been a partial lie. Whether Annie’s parents were worried about her going to an unknown land or not, we don’t know. As expected, Mikasa told Annie not to wear her ring against Eren, during hand-to-hand combat training. ^^ And Mikasa made a good observation about Annie not seeming to be afraid of titans, or wanting a luxurious life, or even wanting to serve the king. – Mikasa was right about Annie’s obligation to join the military police. It’s unfortunate that Annie couldn’t tell Mikasa why, but her reason for joining the military police is connected with her mission, which is connected with her father. … Annie didn’t technically lie, but she omitted the full truth. It’s too bad that Mikasa gave Annie her ring, hoping she wouldn’t ever need to use it, but that day came when Annie transformed into a titan… It's sad that even Annie wished, with all her heart, that she wouldn't use her ring, and fight against her friends... That little page at the end, where Mikasa asked Jean and Connie if they’re on cooking duty that day was cute, lol. They should have been in the kitchen, helping Annie! This chapter was alright. I didn’t really think it was necessary. |

| a cross story about the two principals girls of this two volumes, Mikasa and Annie when both were in the training camp!!!! |
| This last chapter tied down the story to an end rather well. |
