| We already have a pretty good manga (and OAVs nice enough to draw people to the comic), a very long alternate sequel who got lost on its road and what looks like a tentative to do what Last Order promised, and now a US scifi action movie ! Quite a lot for such a series. Plus, an anime in this time period would probably go for a design close to what Last Order and Kasei Senki look like: this white ultra-flat style (Zalem or not) who lacks the impact of the supposed rough art of the beginning. And with that, of course, the sci-fi setting would be "actualized". Not even talking about the degree of violence (psychological, physical...) now allowed in japanese media. |
