| God this is shaping up to be a great season if not a bit better than the first season, everyone in this episode were training hard for the Sports Festival and I do mean everyone was training hard and apparently the Sports Festival is a bigger sporting event than the Olympics in this universe. Good to know, good to know. Pretty nice that we got a montage of Deku reflecting on what others are saying about him. Mount Lady apparently can’t resist seducing an innocent guy for some Takoyaki. XD And yeah did I expect anything less from Bakugo making a speech that might as well be: “I’m gonna win so suck it, losers!” Yeah he was top of his class in terms of the exams but he really wasn’t suited to be their representative in any way. I’m honestly surprised at how much I really like Todoroki as a character, well he’s not overly hostile to Deku like Bakugo is to him, there’s a bit of determination going on there. Plus he even used his ice powers to freeze his competition as well deal with the giant zero point robot from the exams. So cool indeed. Looking forward to the rest of this season for sure. |
| So far this season has not been exciting, and it really is a let down to see the tension rise at the end of last season to just have the sports festival in season 2. The sports festival itself feels super unbalanced with some characters having clear advantages (for example with ice powers). Also why are the non-hero people in the competition? |
