I have not been keeping up with anime news so I don't know which are the hyped animes for this season! I am watching Attack on Titan season 2 and Boruto Generations. Any suggestions?

You can't really determine what's going to be the best yet, since a lot of shows haven't even aired yet. My advice to you is check out the currently airing shows and choose something you think you'll like, then watch the first episode and decide from there if you want to keep watching it.

You are right that it's too early to judge what the best anime will be, but usually before each season starts there are hyped anime with great expectations that of course not always delivers. I would like to know those and any other recommendations! :)

The most popular shows this season are Attack on Titan s2, Boku no Hero Academia s2 and Boruto. Since you said you like Attack on Titan and Boruto I'd say give Boku no Hero Academia a go.

People have been hyping SNK 2 a lot! I think, you can't really say what'll be the best anime for spring 2017. It'll be always depends on what you personally think or what you personally enjoy. Like some people say it's SNK 2 some it's Boku no Hero Academia 2, some it's still One Piece.

But, for me, I've been hooked to Boku no Hero Academia 2 & Shingeki no Kyojin 2 & Sakurada Reset after watching 1st episode.

Out of the ones I've checked out, Shingeki no Bahamut s2 had the best first episode. The MC is a new character, but she became instantly likable. Older characters like Kaisar and Bacchus also made appearances, and we got a decent action scene right at the start. If the quality and the direction keeps up it will easily be AOTS.

You can't go wrong with Shingeki no Kyojin either, as they've been preparing for this season for 4 fucking years now. It just has to be at least somewhat decent.

i dont get the "keeping up" part.. the obvious answer is to sort the season by popularity

I'd say go with popularity, since it's too early to judge. From the ones that I've watched though, Clockwork Planet has had the most disappointing first episode.

Check out My Hero Academia season 2 too. It feels like the original Naruto more than Boruto does. (Not saying Boruto is bad)

The best, and honestly the only true answer to your question is:
Watch whatever seems like it will be interesting to YOU.

Just because 250,000 (random number) people think a show is/is going to be great, doesn't mean you will.

You're never too old to watch anime.
If I ever stop watching anime, check my pulse I'm likely dead.

I wake up with coffee & anime, I go to sleep with coffee & anime.

Sorry if my sarcasm is bad, it's not my first language.

Berserk 2017 has best two episodes in this season in my opinion, unless animation is the only thing you care about

Hero Academia 2, Alice to Zouroku, Granblue Fantasy, Rokudenashi Majutsu, Renai Bouku, Shingeki no Bahamut etc. So, many good anime in this season

If you like battle shounens, Boku no Hero 2 will probably satisfy you. If you want an action series with some waifus, then watch Re:Creators.

So far I actually like most of the stuff I've seen this season and I've picked up 11 spring anime.

Still plan to add ZeroKara and SukaSuka to that list.

But if you want to play it safe go with BokuHero S2 or AoT S2. A lot of people seem to like those so far.

Berserk 2017 if you want a really good comedy anime and Rage of Bahamut if you want a good high fantasy anime.

Not including sequels or 2nd Seasons here but the ones I've found myself enjoying the first episode of have been Alice to Zoroku, Renai Boukun, Rokudenashi Majutsu Koushi to Akashic Records, and Tsuki ga Kirei

These threads are always subjective. My recommendation is go on youtube and type in "anime Spring 2017" and watch what's coming out. Then decide what you may like

Since you did ask what I think is best though... Sin Nanatsu no Taiza. Been waiting for that one for forever!

Boku no Hero Academia S2. Get on it man.
Shingeki no Bahamut: VIRGIN SOUL, also had an absolutely gorgeous first episode (excluding some cg horses and soldiers).

Tsuki ga Kirei is something that I'm personally incredibly curious regarding - the two main characters (who are likely to become love interests) don't seem to pertain to any obvious tropes thus far, and the art-style also reminds me of Hourou Musuko.

I've heard good things about people who have read the original source material for Sakurada Reset, they said that it gets really good. Also, it's two-cour, so hopefully this will give them the chance to fully-flesh out the concepts that have been introduced.
