Well there's no actual real footage except for the Mazinger Z Model, although... taking a look at it for a moment with the bit CG it does look pretty good to be fair.

Staff looks promising, so I hope they can nail on this a lot.

@yu_morisawa Anything Grendizer was totally ignored for this movie. It didn't invalidate the events as far as I remember but it never ever refered to anything from it, we could have got a Grendizer element/character on a souvenir picture with Koji in the opening for example...
Between that, the immense popularity of Koji/Mazinger opposed to Fleed/Grendizer in Japan and the fact Nagai's original plans for a continuation didn't include any UFO Robot Grendizer, that makes your wish sound like a wishful thinking.

PS: if I remember right, there was a "seinen" reinvention of Grendizer in form of a new manga in the 2000s

yes I'm agree with you : everything suggests that Grendizer is part of another universe but... I want to hope again :-)

yes I know this new manga but I don't like it I would prefer a sequel to the original manga
