So does his sister know he's cheer leading? I kept expecting either for him to see her and mess up, or for her to make a scene. It doesn't seem like she was there though.

i shipped ton and mizoguchi for the longest while and now my dreams are crushed, along with my haru x kazu ones. (kidding, kidding)

this was a good episode! even though the "angry haru" scene gave off some second hand embarrassment, it showed a lot of development of the characters. we all found out their insecurities when it came to cheer, and in the case of gen and soichiro, outside of cheer as well (gen feels overshadowded by soichiro, soichiro blames himself too much and rushes too quickly to be the hero).

the hair colors were... something.... sho and haru's hair suited them, though! all in all a good episode.

Haru's Chinese speech is what gave me secondhand embarrassment, really. I can relate, though. My pronunciation for literally any foreign language is a struggle.
I liked the colorful hair for the performance. It made it more fun, I guess? Either way, that performance got me hyped.
Also, finally the pink haired shota appears. I have been awaiting his arrival since I saw the opening the first time. I am all for whatever crush he's got on Kazu.

I'm honestly so glad the amount of effort that has gone into showing cheerleading as the actual sport as it is - and their debut!! They were definitely having fun on that stage and I love them

Great episode! The whole team breaking down reminded me of the plane scene from the movie Almost Famous. Then him getting them all together. The ending program was just wonderful to watch.
