| Ugh, what is it with Japanese people and the name "Alice"? It's so fucking overused. It's like in western movies and westerners overusing the names Chang, Kim, Nakamura, Yamamoto, etc. when they introduce Japanese and other Asian characters. The characters are so generically shounen and wish fulfillment-ish on a female's ideal fantasy shounen world would be (other than yaoi, of course but let's not deny the vast possibilities here). Generic cast of forgettable, cookie-cutter main lead, rich bastards, lazy but insanely powerful character, dumb but always-will-support-the-MC-no-matter-what classmates, stupid foreign names the author thinks sounds cool but are retarded as fuck, etc. I'm bashing this and I don't care. I'm hoping it improves. It's just like any other shounen out there but this revolves around the concept of vampires. |
