As we all know , Old world comprises of 3 main civilizations that are the base of the Modern world . Without them , Humans can't think of the Current age .

Old World mainly consists of ;

Egyptian Civilization
Mesopotamian Civilization
Indus Valley Civilization ( Despite being the largest among the three , not much is known about it )
Yellow river valley civilization .

These Stone and Bronze age civilizations have been the building blocks of the advanced Human race . These civilizations leave a message that , no matter what we do , One day we will disappear and a much more advanced civilization will take our place .

SO what do U people think ???
Put in Views .
What is the Goal of Human race ?

1 To Keep living with Harmony and wait for the mass extinction
2 Self Destruction
3 Humans are space creatures and Our Future lies in Space

whatever our goal is, human beings as a collective that is, will not be reached until the very very very far future. i'm not sure if there is ONE goal in specific since people will always have ideas and creativity will always spark other desires. however, you as a single person, can have one goal. that is the goal you should focus on

I am sure that the human race is going to go to space if we do not kill our selves first. As far as I know without looking anything up because im lazy right now, the Egyptians and Mesopotamians were conquered, and China has been in countless power struggles in its past. I'm sure that India was alright. I don't think that India has actually ever invaded anyone else, but they did get taken over by the Mughals then the British. So what I'm saying is, with my minimum lack of knowledge about these ancient civ's is that we will probs just kill each other before we can work together to make it to space and actually thrive there.

i believe that the current age of humanity began with the fall of Rome (that was also the end of the ancient world).

Since then, despite everything we (as a planet) have been on an upward climb. Within that upward trend there have been downward periods as well. Things can get very tumultuous and it seems like humanity is still suffering birth pains. I definitely think space colonization and further enrichment of life here on earth are in the future if we can survive and overcome differences. The goal is basically for Earth to evolve to the next level as a planet (see Michio Kaku's discourse on planetary stages for a basic outline of what that could mean).

I have my doubts as to whether or not it can be feasible to ever attain perfect harmony between humans. People are, seemingly by nature, fickle and easy to take up arms against others whose beliefs or behavior may be even slightly different.
That being said, I believe that in the present day, a lot of focus is put on making groundbreaking technological advancements in developed countries, and not enough focus on the countries and people that may be left behind as others race ahead to the future. So it may be a good idea to consider using our shiny new technology to help those in need before we continue to widen the gap.

The goal of an entire race would be the main goal held my the majority of its constituents. If we consider this then its probably just to obtain money, which ironically is already obtained by the human race. We've created a nice little cyclical system for ourselves.

lol this post is incomprehensible moreso than your normal ones. but i don't think a given society can be said to have goals. i think we're probably headed for self-destruction barring some level of substantial scientific progress.

There are several civilizations and cultures nowadays as well. The most prominent must be the European-Christian Liberal Democracies aka Western Civilization. However, even within this sphere there are different cultures and clusters. There are three dominant clusters in Europe, which are the Latin-Catholic in the South, Germanic-Protestant in the North and Slavic-Orthodox in the East. And then, within these, there are different countries and regions that stands out from the others and before you know it, it comes down to the level of the individual.

I think we can only live in harmony with one another. A common culture isn't necessarily needed or wanted. We are too many people

Sooner or later we will leave this Earth, or at least some of us, if we don't manage to go extinct before that. So yeah, our future lies in Space, but I don't think we'll be living on ships 24/7.
