| "All of the fine things in my life are slipping away." <-- Carly said something similar earlier. It's interesting that both father and daughter talk about losing things in life and not having them come back... Although Elliot spoke in the context of his Wall Maria cigarettes, I think he's referring to other things as well, like his daughter who won't come back to him. I like Annie's boldness at telling Elliot to stop smoking! I would get annoyed too, if I had to sit with people smoking all day.... <.< Annie actually makes a very good MP! She definitely has the brain of a detective. It's true that Elliot could have just told Annie about Wayne from the beginning, if he didn't kill Wayne himself... It's nice that Annie managed to connect the dots. :) But it's too bad money couldn't bring Carly back to Elliot... I'm happy we learned more about Annie's character through this side story. She isn't the type of person to rigidly follow the law -it was nice to see her being flexible as she listened to Elliot and Carly's perspectives. Instead of forcing Carly to go home, Annie allowed her to be free. With that travel permit, hopefully Carly would stop making coderoin and live better. Maybe Elliot can start over too, now that he accepted Carly won't come back and she's not there to make coderoin for him. |

| i did enjoy annie's story before her fateful mission. good to have a glimpse into her life and how she views things. although it doesn't impact the main story, it was a good little look. i've grown somewhat of a liking to annie, and hope she gets more screen time |

| Such a tragic character. I'm so happy we got this spin-off that show us more of her personality and inner thoughts! |
