| i sometime miss 90'-00' times. When it comes to fandom. It was such amazing time, when we were somewhat crazy about all stuff about japan. In my country, it was very big deal to get some series. only crappy copies, recorded countless times. All of us needed to learn english, cause subtitles in our language were non-option. We were spending all our little money to go on otaku-party events, when there was one or two for a year. We were thinking "serious" about our passion. So i can't compare titles from 90' to nowdays. Cause it's nostalgic to think about times, when computer in home was something we were not even dreaming of. When i watch titles like Hana Yori Dango NOW ... it feels like crap. Seiyuu, animation, graphic, even music - its simply worse than actual stuff. But in my heart - those have bigger place than actual titles. I still remember scenes from NGE, but i don't remember anything from series i watched last year. Not even one title... Which is better? none. old titles brings nostalgic feel, but then we had only small bunch of series, and now we have huge amount of titles we can watch, so it's obvious we tresure them less. |
| There are quite a few 2010 anime that are really good. Main thing in these past few years though is probably monogatari for me though. |
