| Ugh, I don't know what to think about this... First of all, Ruki is suuuper cool! How come they say she's not cool?! Okay Maasa might be the coolest one (*-*) but ugh, what?! Ruki was the second coolest... She might not look super cool in this chapter but everyone has a delicate side, if you hurt them that much they are not going to be able to take it! And I just want to slap Saachan! She did what she did and she doesn't even show the slightest hint of guilt! And I don't understand her, she doesn't even seem to love Ruki, you wouldn't hurt someone you love and act so calm about it, she seriously seems totally disturbed! I don't know, is this supposed to make people upset? Is this why it's called "the feelings we must all endure"?! =.= |

I think I only Male read this book.... as I only interested in this book from "the feelings we must all endure". | I was incredibly pissed at Sacchi in the last 2 chapters. I also don't like how she doesn't apologize for the emotional situation she put Ruki in, but at the same time, it feels as though she does have feelings for Ruki. She's just unsure of where she stands in a FxF relationship. Which you can't entirely blame her on, since she's only been used to dating men. I just hope that nothing dramatic happens in the next chapter and they just end up dating normally, regardless of their flaws. Hopefully Sacchi doesn't end up like Remi or her ex-boyfriend though. |
| Sacchan just... she's plummeted really hard. I was both upset and happy that the two remained a couple. Upset because I don't think Ruki deserves her as Sacchan went too far in cheating, seemed emotionless as f*ck and wasn't apologetic, and... just no. Happy because Amano tried to make me feel better about everything by showing those cute scenes at the end where Sacchan was blushing and actually started considering Ruki as her girlfriend but... *sigh*. I don't know man, I'm really torn about this manga now. We'll just see what happens in the final chapter. |

| Many seem to missunderstand the relationship between Ruki and Sachan prior to what happened in chapter 13. They weren't actually dating, they were sex friends. Still, Sachan behaved really questionable this chapter. I hope the last chapter ends with either a break up from Ruki's side or with a serious shift in their power balance because I don't wanna see Ruki become Sachan's toy. I'm sure Shuninta will deliver- |

THEY WEREN'T DATING?! REGARDLESS THAT, RUKI CONFESSED HER FEELINGS TO SACHI! SACHI WAS WELL KNOWN ABOUT RUKI'S FEELINGS! AFTER ALL, SACHI LOVES RUKI?! JUST HOW SHE BEHAVED, HAVING SEX ALL THE TIME WITH REMIA KNOWING RUKI'S FEELINGS, SHE LOVES RUKI?! GO TO *** SHE LOVES. AND IN THIS CHAPTER, RUKI EVEN ENDED UP ACCEPTING EVERYTHING, OMG! | That was a weird turn of events. I don't see their relationship going anywhere except a painful and bitter(for Ruki) ending. I mean, Sachi knew Ruki was in love with her, and yet she regularly had sex on the side and didn't show any remorse or even a slightest hint of regret about her actions. Compare it to how bad Asuna felt about having to go to other women for sex. And Asuna at least had some justification for sleeping with other women(since Fueko wasn't able or willing to satisfy her sexual desires), albeit a morally questionable one. I don't believe Sachi actually has or can have any romantic feelings towards Ruki. She was clearly doing that pretend relationship with her just to make Ruki feel better and because Sachi didn't want to explicitly dump her. Well, I guess I just have to see how the story is going to end. |

| Top 10 anime betrayals. I found this ending really depressing at first, mainly because of how imbalanced it is (i.e. Ruki forgives Sacchan no strings attached). It's a very uncomfortable note to end on. At the same time, I can see some merit in the sentiment that maybe it can work out between the two of them after all, that wounds will be healed, and the relationship will be a net positive in both of their lives. Who knows. I think this exact same situation would have been easier to swallow if it had been presented differently, and on twice as many pages, to give it proper room to breathe. I'm thinking, Ruki and Sacchan get drunk, lay all the cards on the table, call each other all sorts of nasty things, and after they both got it all out of their systems, they talk things out (not necessarily in this order). That would have been an easier sell. Just Ruki crying, a hug, and "if it's you I'll put up with anything" is not something I can buy, whether or not it's realistic. It's too thin. Where is the catharsis? If you're not gonna end the story with falling action, at least go out with a bang. Sacchi lowkey fucking Remi for a month. Ruki sexing Sacchan even though she realized that she didn't return her feelings. Etc. They both have a reason to be angry and feel hurt. If there's a time for maximum angst, this would be it - even if they end up reconciling and rebooting their relationship. It's hard for me to view Remi as anything but a "villain sue". She never faces consequences for her actions, even though she's about as subtle as a flying brick, when it comes to her antics. This pertains to the previous chapter, but Ruki should have definitely not offered her a ride back from the beach. She should have just left her there without a word. Any other reaction would just be giving her what she wants. In the end, I think the most interesting thing about the chapter is the discussions that it inspired. For example, this thread from Dynasty: page 30, (backup) 31, (backup) and especially 32 (backup). Who's more to blame, Ruki or Sacchan? Is cheating bad? Did Sacchan really cheat on Ruki at all? Is it a good thing that they stayed together? Did Ruki come out of the story better than before? Does this count as a happy ending? Does that make the story better or worse? It's actually pretty fun to read the different perspectives. |
