| For example in a 25 episode anime where it is split into two openings, I would watch the beginning and the end. So I would watch the opening for episodes 1,13,14, and 25, if 1-13 is opening 1 and 14-25 is opening 2. |

| OPs tend to give away characters that haven't been introduced so I tend to skip them on the first few episodes of a new anime. When I've seen the op a couple times already I just kinda sit there for like 15 seconds contemplating life while staring at it, then just skip. |

| Even though I watch the OP/ED every time , I can see why people think that it gets too repetitive if they are power watching/marathoning a series.. But I think if you only watch about 2-5 episodes of a given show per day, or especially if its a weekly show you only watch once per week, then you should definitely stick around for both the OP and the ED songs. I think they add artistic value and/or emotional value to the anime, openings can get you hype for the anime, endings can get you really thinking about what happened in the episode and what will happen next.. I have a friend that thinks openings and endings are pointless, and that they "use budget resources that could be better put to use in the actual anime itself." I tried to explain my views to him but he will not budge at all on his, I guess he just cares only about the show itself.. |
