Here we go again with another teaser trailer for the live-action Fullmetal Alchemist adaptation.

Maybe it's because expectations are so low on this one (need we remind you of Japan's - and for that matter, America's - track record with anime adaptations), but it's definitely hard not to be optimistic when the visuals are looking so damn good. It's certainly no Hollywood production, but let's keep things in perspective here. One of the many reasons Japanese blockbuster films falter is because of their small budgets and correspondingly corny visuals - so it's a reassuring first sign.
All we need now is a good script, good acting, decent chemistry between Ed and his CGI brother, and a solid directorial presence. Look, we're not asking for much; we are talking about a live-action adaptation of one of MALs highest rated anime here.

We'll be strongly anticipating it's release in Japan on December 1st 2017. No word yet on whether this will be seeing an American premiere.
