more of a mystery gore than horror. It serves its audiences with good suspense, sastisfying ways of deaths (did it sound like a serial killer would say? maybe no) and unexpected outcomes throughout the story.
I enjoyed the show. Great music. Great characters that you can admire, ranging from the tearful yet courageous boy to the psychotic yet admirable american assassin to our comic relief immortal duo. I really get the vibe that I'm watching an anime that was set in America 80 years ago, props to the production crew.
Body swapping, Desires unleashin, Thoughts transferring from one person to another, butterflies in your stomach. THIS. IS. A. MUST. WATCH. Great Romance Plot, Great Drama scenes, Entertaining problems, and most of all, Inaba "Dereban" Himeko <3
Special episodes of Kokoro Connect, this hints after the last problem ended in ep 13.This is more about our characters and not the problems they have to face, and it's focused more on developing romance and themselves in general.
Think of it as a tooth corrodingly sweet candy.
You take it for the pleasure of it being sweet and not for the sugar content. Why? Because Love is sweet and Story pacing is horrible.
It's for everyone who doesn't mind gore once in a while. I enjoyed the series mainly for how the character developed from an unfortunate crying babby to a once heck of a badass bastard.
