An anthology series is a television or film series that presents a different story and or a different set of characters. They make these switches in each episode, season, segment, or short, as determined by the creators. To those who are looking for something more than the typical shonen garbage, here are some anime for you to watch. One anime is given for each franchise. Educational Anime Underrated Anime Movies or OVA or Short Films or Short Animated Videos (could be a really great music video). Anime... something I'm certain we all enjoy. However, if, like myself, you enjoy mature/darker/slower narratives featuring: relatable and morally-grey characters, little to no sexualization of said characters, and the lack of 'power of friendship', you'll find that you're jaded and your finger nails bleeding from digging through incomprehensible amounts of mire. Excellent shows and movies that, despite being well-rated, got pushed far below the surface and are no longer easily visible to those who don't dive deeper into the medium. Animes that examines how the humans relates to each other from different points of view. Some are more focused on individuals and some explores bigger groups or societies.
