Ano Hi no Kanojo-tachi: Day 09 - Miu Takigawa

With all the development and growth both Miu and Nagomi Saijo have had, it's fitting for her to have gotten her own special farewell video. Few characters and their respective actors have come close to the sort of relationship these two have had and the animation perfectly reflects how both have changed and grown to who they are today and where they may be going next. Every part of this animation illustrates part of her time as part of 22/7. She starts with reading a book on a train and walking alone, getting home and crying holding her Boku wa Sonzai uniform, and eventually enjoying ... the day passing laughing children and enjoying the blossoming trees. Finally she boards a bus going somewhere new. The choice of music also suits a character like her, and compliments the lack of dialogue and somewhat sad nature of the animation.
