Synopsis

A team of three magical girls known as Tres Magia protects the town where Utena Hiiragi lives. Like many others, Utena loves these magical girls who valiantly fight in the name of justice. One day, a mysterious black mascot character appears before Utena and grants her the opportunity of a lifetime: a chance to transform into a magical girl.

However, the offer is not what it seems, as Utena has been recruited for an evil organization to fight the magical girls she has always admired. Utena is then forced to confront Tres Magia in battle; but instead of feeling remorse, she unexpectedly finds pleasure in inflicting pain on the magical girls. Completely giving in to her desires, Utena embraces her role as a villain, slowly transforming her adoration for magical girls into a new sadistic obsession.

Is ecchi always trashy? Can ecchi actually be good?

This is a query I have dealt with every time I tune into a new ecchi show. After this show, I can say this now, but this show does try to do more than just pure ecchi. Not much, but it's there. If you don't think too hard and are more nonchalant about it, you may see something of value beyond just the erotica. This show is tasteful in some aspects; if it went any further than this toward hentai territory, I think I would've enjoyed ...

it's been roughly a month since I actually finished the anime but I want to try writing a review so here I am. Mixed feelings is definitely the best way to describe this anime. I personally enjoyed the anime a lot but this was only possible because my expectations were set low considering it is just a light hearted ecchi. It doesn't try to do anything remarkable or say anything meaningful but that doesn't really matter does it?

If you like your ecchi with comedy elements and that's all you want this is it. For what it is, it is a well-made good quality anime.

This show shouldn't exist.

I believe that any show can be liked by somebody or even be their favorite. Even SAO falls under this rule. This show, however, shouldn't be enjoyed by anybody.

Of course this isn't a "This show is trash so you shouldn't like it" situation. I genuinely cannot believe that there is a single soul, nonmatter how degenerate they are, could like this show.

Are you looking for a cool magical girl fighting anime? Too bad this show spent half its budget animating the anime boobs. Looking for a well written story with well written and developing characters? Such a shame that this show throws ...
