Synopsis

Rentarou Aijou has it all: looks, intelligence, athletic skill, and popularity with peers and mentors alike. Unfortunately, none of these qualities help Rentarou with his love life. On the day of his middle school graduation, he is once again turned down by a girl he confesses to, earning his one-hundredth rejection in a row. Down on his luck, he goes to a matchmaking shrine and wishes to finally get a girlfriend in high school.

When the god of the shrine suddenly appears before him, Rentarou is told he will meet an astronomical total of one hundred soulmates in high school. Though Rentarou initially does not take this foretelling seriously, his doubts disappear when, on the first day of school, he meets two of these soulmates—Hakari Hanazono and Karane Inda—who both confess to him. With fated encounters and love confessions galore, Rentarou's life is about to get a lot more exciting.

(little spoiler of the beginning for the synopsis)

The god of love messed up on the day Rentarou Aijou, our hero, was born. You have to understand: that day, Laputa: Castle in the Sky was on TV (this is really the plot of the anime, I'm not making this up). As a result, instead of assigning him one soulmate, which would have already been an incredible stroke of luck, he was given 100, just like that. 100 women who perfectly match Rentarou's desires and who will instantly fall in love with him and vice versa, as any respectable soulmates would.

Worse: A soulmate is also somewhat ...

Mixed Feelings
I'm giving this a 6 just for two reasons
1.The first half made me laugh a LOT , like it was so dumb and obviously parody that i loved how stupid everything was
2.The animation is gorgeous, they didn't need to go that hard for this but the animators went wild with some scenes

I would gladly give it a 7 even and 8 if it wasnt because of the last 3 episodes, the mom....the mom.
Look i get that this is a parody of comedy and harem anime but there's times where a joke is just too much or is just not funny at all, i ...

Story: Story? This shit barely has one. Mc just goes around collecting girls like they're pokemon. Nothing compelling ever heappens, and the comedy rarely lands.

Characters: Mc is a joke. Dude is basic as hell and a huge pushover. All side characters are just high school girls that follow various anime tropes so they can appeal to all the degenerates that go wild over this shit. Character development? Never heard of it

Ending: Nothing conclusive, since a second season is planned.

Production: Everything is decent too good, nothing to complain about.

Overall, an uninteresting anime full of tropes and bait for cucks who are into anime high ...
