How to kill most interest in your otherwise promising series in 7 easy steps:
- Decide to portray no more than around 14 manga chapters' worth of material in a single anime season
- Start strong, spend the first few episodes on meaningful plot and character development
- Realize that you have next to nothing left to show and you're not even at halfway point in the cour
- Start padding out episodes, draw out scenes as much as you can, make the characters retread the same topic over and over again, try to delay the actual confrontation with the antagonists as much as possible
- Realize that you simply ... can't draw things out even more at this point, but you're still merely at two-thirds of the season
- As a last-ditch effort to fill up the remaining episodes, start a multi-episode flashback arc that features no more than one single character of the main cast (not the MC of course), with next to no stakes as the events portrayed therein have been discussed in previous episodes already
- Realize that most of your fans have already fled, congratulate yourself for a job well done

I'm rating this a 5 because the actual story is great. Go read the manga if you're interested. It's the adaptation that is... revolting.

Actually, what anime am I watching?
Isekai anime or Chuunibyou anime?

The first thing that made me sick when I first watched this anime was the Chuunibyou nature of the character Inukami Suzune. A character with a cheerful nature and seems most enthusiastic when he finds out that he is going to Isekai, but the cheerfulness of this character actually makes him disgusted to see him, especially Tsukomi from the MC is annoying, to be honest this looks very forced to create comedy in the middle of a story that shouldn't have comedy.

In essence, this is an anime that forces comedy into the storyline, even though the ... comedy is not funny at all and actually makes you sick to watch.

I don't have any more words to describe how bad this anime is.

The anime is so mediocre that I really had to look for a reason not to simply abandon it (which I didn't feel like doing after episode 6).

At first glance, this reason can probably be found directly in the title. After all, it's supposed to be about "The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic", but I don't see much of it. The protagonist trains until he drops and when he falls over, he heals himself so that he can carry on. As a result, he becomes extremely muscular within a few days and also masters his magic excellently. Unfortunately, this idea is almost too normal ... to be interesting. After all, there could be some really extreme stuff meant here - too much healing and creating cancer, for example.

Furthermore, the anime is very lame and riddled with scenes where nothing happens. Conversations upon conversations upon conversations - shouldn't be bad for a series, but unfortunately neither characters, themes nor world are interesting and the animations or music aren't good enough to make you really want to listen. The conversations are so devoid of content that you can skip through them and still understand everything!

Conclusion: More mush for us. Maybe the missing episodes will be convincing, but after watching the first 6, I don't think so.

Its as meh as meh can be. I have forgotten what its about and all its characters almost as soon as I finished watching it.

The premise was very appealing to me, since it's isekai and also since I had played healers in MMOs many a times. And it was quite funny and entertaining in the first couple of episodes. And then it got boring. And blah, and just eye-roll inducing. The characters were all so one-dimensional that they started to bleed into one another, the storyline felt like they just did not know what to do with it once they actually got people to start ... watching, and the humour and comedy just started to feel forced and like they finally realise how boring the show was getting and they just absolutely had to throw in some jokes to try to make it entertaining.

Shame really, because it kinda started off decent. It just got so blah until I almost forgot I was watching this series and had to force myself to finish it.

Isekai with too much talking about nothing interesting, or more like infodumping in boring dialogs form.

It starts decently, but the more the story develops, the more the plot moves forward with little to no connection to the protagonist. He makes no decisions, he takes no active role. It is possible to make a great story this way, but it is not the case here. There is no conflict shown anywhere, just some looming outside danger of demon lord invasion for the sake of invasion into kingdom where MC was summoned and live.

Even throwing at him some kind of oracle to foretold his future in ... order to change it has zero impact on the immediate story and zero initiative on the part of the protagonist to do something about it.

No romance, no nothing. Just some grinding and "leveling", which gets old pretty fast.

Animation is as average as it gets.

Kirito#2^31 gets KIDNAPPED to trash fantasy world#2^31 with seito kaichou#2^31 and third wheel kazuki. There they meet king baby chicken#2^31 in the copy pasted palace. After that, sexy OP woman who is probably insane but then it turns out she is a tusdenere omg who would have expected that not me#2^31(at least she wears clothes) takes him away to become the true protagonist and get all the bitches.

Characters: 1/10 Appalling
The main characters are INSANE. So, the biggest turd on the covers of the anime (I refuse to call him "protagonist") is an EVIL PSYCHOPATH. For example: he is sent deep into a ... forest to kill a bear who has wronged no one as far as we know. He stalks him and his family for a while but when he is ready to kill him for literally nothing, he finds out the Papa bear was killed so he takes his orphaned son away as a pet. After a while, he stumbles into Papa bear's old home and with a sad face and a voice with a sad hue while looking pityingly at his pet he says:"This is the den where Blurin used to live. His parents were killed by a giant snake monster." LIKE HE WASN'T ABOUT TO KILL HIS PARENTS COMPLETELY UNPROVOKED. WHAT AN EVIL PSYCHOPATH! SCARY! Also, since he is in another world he will likely never see his loved ones ever again. Forget the permanent crippling effects such a separation would cause especially to a child, this joke of a character is happy about not being an npc anymore except a turd that starts using healing magic simply becomes a healing turd :). Speaking of psychopaths, we have student council president who is also EXALTED to be kidnapped from her family in order to earn a living by killing everything that crosses her path in someone else's war in another world. SCARY! The rests consists of the tsundere captain and the 3rd hero who is an npc which unironically makes him seem the most human out of all and thankfully, he SPECIFICALLY isn't dating seitokaichou since he is not the main character nor the love interest XDD. Wouldn't want the pretty girl to be snatched from the main turd now would we? XDD

Art: 2/10 Horrible
I honestly don't care about music much, but I was forced for a few seconds to listen to it while looking to skip the intro and I wasn't captivated enough to listen fully. I have even less of a knack for art so I won't talk about it EXCEPT there is one thing completely INFURIATING that I am sure anyone above the age of 18 would agree with: The demon general woman who is in PANTIES ALL THE TIME. I am so tired of this thing where women can't get any pants. You are a general of the demon kings army and at best you dress like a fool who is playing around and at worst you dress like a harlot IN FRONT of the king of demons and on the battlefield. I don't appreciate when women are treated like this. I seriously gave art 2/10 just for this mockery.

"HUMOR" SO BAD IT MADE ME WANT TO K*LL MY*ELF!!
Every "attempt" at humor was just the turd making faces that made me wish I could just go there and rip his jaw off. Other "attempts" at humor ware the bear who was acting not like a wild animal but a chinese zoo bear. Animals in anime acting so human and making the sounds of people who have no idea what the animal's actual noises are, are DISGUSTING!


In counclusion, if you do the arithmetic mean of all the scores I've given, you get 2, meaning 2/10 for this piece of garbage. Horrible.

FILLER, THE ANIME

It's not that they put filler in that bothers me, it's that they put in 2 FULL episodes of filler about a secondary character in a 13 episode season of a show that will most likely NEVER get a second season. The isekai genre is already bloated beyond belief, filled with generic and forgettable shows. Just getting a season 2 is nearly impossible for most. They've already wasted so much time this season, constantly padding epsiodes, but doing this is insane. I have zero interest in watching further, and I would not recommend wasting your time on this show when there are so ... many better series you could spend your time on.

This is such a frustrating series. The premise both felt like it was written specifically to appeal to me and repulse me. The former because, as someone who commonly takes on the healer role in online games but still likes to throw hands as a healer, the entire concept of a "wrong way to use healing magic" felt more personally investing. The latter because it's as basic isekai as isekai premises get: three students (because of course they need high schoolers) get summoned to a fantasy world because they have to save the kingdom, one of whom just ends up coming along for the ride ... but, of course, ends up with the special magic that distinguishes him even from his fellows. To be fair, it doesn't stay rote, as Usato quickly finds himself at the mercy of the powerful and sadistic healer Rose, who steals just about every scene she's in. So begins an ultra-fast training arc that actually makes some sense for once, since healers can repair their muscles and recover their stamina rapidly. Add a cuddly blue bear companion, some decent fights in the wilderness and an incoming army of demons and you've got yourself the makings of an investing isekai series.

Trouble is, that only gets you to episode 3. So, what happens after that? I'll keep things vague to avoid spoilers:

Usato trains. Usato and one of his companions from his original world tool around in the woods. The invasion is imminent... for several episodes! Everyone prepares themselves... and now some backstory! Finally, the promised fight arrives... and ends anticlimactically before trailing off into a couple of episodes that feel comparatively drained of significance. So, yeah, this series has some serious pacing problems.

But it's not just pacing. The writing in this series has so many problems. They insert a plot point where Usato learns of impending danger in the fight ahead and barely acts upon it. Sudden power-ups and conveniently effective magic are frustrating, most of the other characters feeling like they only as scenery (even characters who are supposedly powerful), the series barely seems to use its isekai premise (why couldn't these have been three random kids from this world? They never use technology or knowledge from the other world), and everything feels shockingly easy with healing magic. Who knew? It doesn't help that even the great Rose feels significantly less interesting after we learn her backstory (though she's still the best character in the show). Sometimes, less is more, and I think if her story had remained more shrouded in mystery would have been better than what we got. It doesn't help that the whole narrative direction of the series feels like it's barely established. There are many ways to do antagonists that work, and they certainly don’t all have to be nuanced (Frieren pulled demons off very well with little to no nuance), but this just came off as lazy. It's a nice excuse not to give any of their enemies more than the bare minimum in character development.

Put simply, the writing for this series isn’t good. It took what was a simple but intriguing idea and just didn’t know how to use it effectively past its early stages. It’s a shame, really, because there are the building blocks of something worthwhile here, but the series doesn’t capitalize on its opportunities. It drags out elements that aren’t worth the time and rushing through others that should matter more. I really thought this one would be more worthwhile, and it’s doubly frustrating because they set up more of an adventure-focused narrative for a S2 that may never happen. It seems like they have an interesting world to build, just a shame they have barely showed us any of it so far. Much as I might give it another chance based on that alone, I don't think this season earned a sequel, no matter what potential it might have.

Thrash isekai. Nothing more, nothing less. Was somewhat enjoyable. Ig the comedy wasn't really my style... and seeing as how comedy is one of the main, if not the main points of this anime, ig I missed quite a lot of its enjoyment. It's the dumb king of comedy, but for me it seems like the bad dumb kind of comedy. The unfunny one. So yea, ig it wasn't for me

Pretty average basic story for an isekai. Forgetable fast af. Some of the story parts were dumb af tho, literally made me ??? myself for the reason they did it this way.... It's superficial ... af as well, nothing deep at all, not even a little bit. Was fine with that, not like everything needs to be complex or anything... But I feel like they tried to force at times some kind of feeling moments? Guess it didn't work on me cuz they felt dumb. In short, pretty dissapointing.

Okayish. Liked how there weren't always CGI for monsters, but then sometimes it was CGI, a tad too much.

Meh again... ig the king was pretty cool cuz he was normal kind, not the isekai type of king, the villain one.
