Do you want to see a family relationship slowly fall apart, a unique plot execution, intense amount of absurdity and a bit of implied incest? This is the anime for you.

Both have the premise of a person who travels to the past to meet their family and the different bizarre ocurrences that happen because of that. Both also have a similar style of dry humor, witty heavy dialogue and slaptick comedy. (copied from my AniDB recommendation)

Vlad Love and Gosenzo-sama Banbanzai! both are surreal loony plays, with farcical comedy and satire. Both share a "experimental stage play" feeling: they are medium-aware, break the 4th wall, and discuss highly sophisticated themes among a seemingly foolish cast. Both were written and directed by Mamoru Oshii.

Comedic nonsensical adventures that break the laws of physics, all encapsulated within a narrative that focuses heavily on symbolism and familial relationships. Very fun and surreal, and have unique art styles. Not to mention, the animation quality is great for both!

Heavy on monologues. dark humour, unpredictable situations and weird overall story.

The narration in Memory has a similar style of comedy to Gosenzosama Banbanzai! Telling the mundane parts of human relationships with some really really bizarre allegories.

Similar use of metafiction and absurd to explore the boundaries between fiction and reality. Pretty different shows overall but I found similar themes and narrative sensitivities.

The main similarity is the references to theatre, with shadow girls in utena and a play-like storytelling in the entirety of Gosenzosama, also, there is a narrator that ocasionally appears and ells what happens or what will happen in the story in an abstract and allegorical way.

A main character came into a family's life and disrupted them, which fractured the family.

Both have really quirky dialogue, witty characters and a good amount of dry humor. If you're in the mood for watching a dialogue-driven story please check the other anime.
