Romance anime that are set in the (kinda) real world, adapted from light novels. No GL, BL or for-female titles (sorry)

This stack is for relatively realistic Slice of Life anime that depicts the daily life of the characters quite realistically and lacks excessive moe or other idealization/objectification of the social groups shown. Of course, taking into account the genre and premise of anime. For example, I defined Hibike as realistic since it's a rather visualy metaphorical anime, but didn't include many other CGDCT shows due to the "girl's zoo" premise.

The Bechdel test is an informal, basic measure of positive/accurate female representation in media. The 3 conditions required to be met to pass the test are (1) that at least 2 female characters appear in the media, (2), these characters have a conversation or interaction and (3), that the conversation/interaction is NOT about a man or their love/sex life.
