Kami-tachi ni Hirowareta Otoko

Overall it is quite poor. Given the quality of source material, this is hardly surprising.

Long story short we have a Mary Sue/Gary Stu protagonist, who is incredibly shy, but saintly/just and is surrounded by an army of carton cutout characters whose only purpose is to praise and support him. The art is on cheaper side, doesn't stand out. We have low-ish detail on characters, the designs aren't exceptional and do not stand out (again, not surprising, given the source material), backgrounds are somewhat cheap and mediocre looking and most of them seems to be made in a 3d software, rather than painted by hand. Those ... kind of backgrounds are becoming more and more common these days, but hey, there are titles that are worse. Animation is on cheaper side as well, with plenty of talking head scenes, where character only opens mouth, or something along those lines.

The good, or rather decent thing about it is that it isn't downright horrible, and maybe in some rare circumstances could work as some sort of unwind material, but even that is doubtful.

4/10 story, 4/10 art, 5/10 sound, 3/10 character, 3/10 enjoyment, 4/10 overall.

Details:

Story: Slow paced, and quite obviously revolves around main character, and praising him. The protagonist is approaching level of Mary Sue/Gary Stu with saintly overtones, except he is incredibly shy and doesn't seem to be somebody's self-insert.

Art: Cheapish art with low amount of detail. Backgrounds aren't great, but I've seen worse. Animation aren't great and there are "Talking head" scenes with minimal amount of movement. There's also CG in places which is quite noticeable, but it is mediocre and not atrociously bad.

Sound: Okay, but I honestly don't even remember it. Meaning it was neither good nor bad.

Character: Lots of one dimensional and dull characters with zero personality. So far there was only one highly stereotypical side character that was somewhat interesting, and that was pretty much it. Most of the characters exist to praise and support the protagonist.

Enjoyment: Not fun. Slow paced, and poor characterization kills any potential of enjoyment. It could in theory be a slow paced slice of life kind of thing in a magical world, but low quality of character prevents that.

Overall: Not good. Not recommended, and best avoided unless you have nothing else to watch. On other hand, it is not atrociously bad, just "not good".

There's chill and there's boring. Don't get me wrong, I do like slice of life and isekai, and this felt very much up my alley. But 5 episodes in, I was always waiting. Waiting for something to happen, waiting for a turn to make it much more enjoyable. Just waiting. There is pleasure in the mundane and chill, but this was not it at all.

Characters wise, they were very forgettable and pretty much one-dimensional. There didn't seem to be much of a setup, and there definitely wasn't much in way of character development. And the plethora of characters thrown at you just seemingly melded and ... bled into each other, with no distinctive distinguishing factor. Half the time I didn;t remember who a specific character was, where and when was he/she introduced, and the other half of the time I was wondering what function a specific character serves to the story.

As for the storyline, sure there were moments that stood out, and the emtional moments that stood out would have made it great, had it not been drowned out by other moments that were very much yawn inducing. I pretty much forgot what happened in that episode once the episode over. It was not memorable, just blah.

For me, an anime worth my time has to grab me and hold my attention, and make me want to just keep going until the wee hours of the night, and it has to make me want to rewatch it at certain points in time, and the excellent ones even had me rewatching immediately because they were just that good. For this though, I didn't have the motiviation to carry on watching, and I certainly did not feel like rewtaching it at any point in time, even if just to clear up any confusion I had.

Utterly forgettable and not worth the time, unless you had loads of time to waste.

In the famous words of the Supreme Chancellor in a faraway galaxy 'Do it'. If only he did.

Well here is a happy-clappy show that if you cut out the fact they say Thank you, Congratulations and encourage each other all the time individually it would be about 1/3 shorter. I mean literally, each person says something to each face at many many times. People just randomly break out doing something and everyone stands in amazement and doesn't question the insanely advanced child and such.

I knew the show was for a younger audience but it is like spoon-feeding. I mean ... even at one point a show about slimes you see that in episode 11 slimes are good for a kid but others can do so much better.

Of course, the story is a typical Isekai where the adult is a kid and runs into wealth indirectly and the rest is history. He has a cute girl that is absolutely gagging for it but seems she may grow up to be a psychopath if nurtured since he is clueless and shy. I hope he changes and becomes a demon king or something that would be interesting.

The art style although high quality at times is somewhat low quality too. Many times you see the laziness of walking like a bird jumping or the animation drops off a cliff so suddenly.

The sound is alright, the magic could do with so much more depth.

Characters are all very happy-clappy. I wouldn't say there was even anyone bad in the show as such. You do get a catgirl, tiger girl, bunny girl and dog girl who are adorable. Catgirl and bunny girl are especially cute to see with the way they speak and act.

The show is very simple and over the top in many ways of everyone rooting for one guy regardless. The story itself just feels so empty and as said if they didn't have 12 people in a row say Congratulations over and over it would be much shorter.

I wouldn't like to see it comes back unless it takes a huge dramatic dark turn or something because otherwise, it is one of the very many similar shows and others have done this better.

Seasonal isekai anyone? Animation is average, complete forgettable and uninspired, but not hideous. "Action scenes" are typically cut away from, and have zero suspense. Characters are fairly average, hardely any depth and mostly just empty shells that feign to have any emotions, but not the worst. Story is incredibly bare bones. Isekai, new world, op, magic... whoo exciting. There is literally no gimmick or any twists. Just kind of is. Pacing is slow and, if you are like me, will hardly keep your attention for more than a couple minutes at a time. Voice acting is pretty soulless and unconvincing. Relatively grating, but not the ... worst. Soundtrack is actually pretty decent, the op is alright and the ed is good, but not a great fit for the anime. There really isn't a whole lot to like about this anime. The one major thing I dislike other than it's incredibly boring, is that every character literally tells the main character how cool and awesome he is after he does literally anything ever. It's a great show if you're a toddler, but I can't really recommend it to anyone over the age of ten. On a scale of one to ten it is barely a five, or in other words slightly below average. 4.5/10
