Characters wise, they were very forgettable and pretty much one-dimensional. There didn't seem to be much of a setup, and there definitely wasn't much in way of character development. And the plethora of characters thrown at you just seemingly melded and bled into each other, with no distinctive distinguishing factor. Half the time I didn;t remember who a specific character was, where and when was he/she introduced, and the other half of the time I was wondering what function a specific character serves to the story.
As for the storyline, sure there were moments that stood out, and the emtional moments that stood out would have made it great, had it not been drowned out by other moments that were very much yawn inducing. I pretty much forgot what happened in that episode once the episode over. It was not memorable, just blah.
For me, an anime worth my time has to grab me and hold my attention, and make me want to just keep going until the wee hours of the night, and it has to make me want to rewatch it at certain points in time, and the excellent ones even had me rewatching immediately because they were just that good. For this though, I didn't have the motiviation to carry on watching, and I certainly did not feel like rewtaching it at any point in time, even if just to clear up any confusion I had.
Utterly forgettable and not worth the time, unless you had loads of time to waste.
