Your probably looking at the 10/10 i gave this series and have aptly ascertained that i am must be mentally ill. Especially if you have actually watched this piece of garbage. No its, not a mistake, nor do i need to be committed to any kind of padded room. This story and every character in it is the personification of what terrifying things can be done with moral justification under the right set of circumstances.

In a way its meant to be a lesson of the cost of enlightenment. How high exactly can that price be; how far can a good person fall under the ... right circumstances; what could those circumstances look like?

Well, you have found an answer to that question, its "kaifuku jutsushi no yarinaoshi"

The hero, or anti hero of this story chooses the path of most suffering, that can in no way be attributed, in his eyes at least as his fault or unjustified in anyway; which is unfortunately a position that is both difficult to agree or disagree with. Which seems to be the very purpose of this piece of work. For the record i don't think the person that wrote this is depraved or sadistic, its more like he has written a reflection of the world around him and he doesn't leave out one iota of the depravity we have in the world around us.

Its a story of what god would see if he was looking down on us right now, at the world he created and just like the original, this is utter shit. ^^

Most viewers will not like this anime; myself included, but i still recommend watching it.

Redo of Healer has garnered a lot of attention. Many have criticized it for its glorification of rape and its insensitivity in dealing with sensitive topics (haha yes the water is indeed wet). I would like to propose an alternative perspective. What would you genuinely do if you were in a situation like the MC?

Violated day after day, month after month, the only things on your mind is "how do I get out of here?", and "how can I get ... back at those people who abused me?" What better way to do it than by giving them a dose of their own medicine?

(This gets into some philosophy, and I'd like to stress that, of course, this is merely my opinion. If you disagree with me, feel free to send me a virus.)

Human beings are inherently cruel. (This is the foundation of this argument, if you disagree with this statement, you will likely disagree with the rest of this). The heroes we are so accustomed to seeing in our popular shounens don't exist in real life. While the execution could have arguably been better, Redo of Healer seeks to place an empowered REAL human being at its center. An individual who follows human nature and is motivated by their desire to get back at their enemies, not a hero who forgives those who do them injustice. This results in the development of a very sadistic character, but not one that seeks to cause carnage, rather, one that feeds off of despair.

This becomes especially apparent in the second episode. In the infamous rape scene, Keyaru, our MC, has the option to use a hot iron to violate Freya or just do it himself. While he threatens Freya with the iron, he himself does not want to hurt her permanently. He simply wants her to feel what he felt. That desperation, that feeling of despair and hopelessness that one feels when they realize that they are completely powerless, and are at the mercy of a dominant figure. This is further supported by the fact that Keyaru heals Freya after the finger breaking scene. While many paid attention to Keyaru using his heal to further break Freya's mind, what few saw was the fact that he healed her completely before the rape scene.

Keyaru is cruel, but is still human. He is sadistic, but he still does not want to leave even his worst of enemies permanently injured. He tells himself it is because he wants to toy with them more, but in reality, there is a simpler explanation. Perhaps the most damning evidence for this comes in the form of his curiosity in the Demon Lord. He sympathizes with her and wants to help her. Despite his sadism and twisted personality, the reason why Keyaru spares Freya is that he has not lost his humanity (and also because of plot armor, but we aren't going there for obvious reasons).

I am not saying that this show is good or bad. That is something far too subjective and would be pointless to touch upon in a show as polarized as this. What I am saying is that this story was not put together with little effort. This is NOT low effort ecchi.

While many are still too immature or lack the stomach to watch Redo of Healer, a look beyond the sex and the twisted nature of this anime will reveal a rather unique show, trying to break away from the norm of zero plot ecchi and "I'm going to break through my limits!" shounen.

Give it a try if you dare, and in time, perhaps you too will see things the way I do.

I'm going to have it a dishonest score of a 10 since this show isn't masterpiece worthy, but could use the ratings boost from all these people giving it a 1 or 2.

Listen, I get it. This is a show that contains many dark elements that aren't in your average slice of life or shonen. If anything, I was expecting this sort of controversy when I heard this was getting an anime adaptation in the first place.

However, just because you don't like the inclusion of certain elements doesn't mean you need to review-bomb this show. It's definitely not everyone's cup of tea; if ... you don't like shows that depict mature scenes and heinous acts, then feel free to drop it.

But don't try and bring this show down under based off of your feelings towards it alone. Quite frankly, nobody gives a shit about your Puritan standpoints, so don't force them on others.

As for the actual review, I think the show's alright so far. There's definitely some action building up, and with a human character who endured so much hardship, it's intriguing to follow and see what he plans on doing to those who made him suffer. There's a lot of fucking in this one, but it doesn't ruin the plot contents. I think the character designs are great, considering it's not the first time TNK has worked on lewd scenes (I'm looking at you DxD).

In conclusion, if you were one of the people who shit on Goblin Slayer for ep1, you're gonna have an aneurysm with this show. If you're not, I'm asking you to please take some content with a grain of salt and try taking the main character's perspective.

Im gonna be so fr. This anime is 100% not for everyone. Some people even made this into a meme. Although I still believe this is a really good anime despite its sexual content and other interesting plot twists. Following the main character he is betrayed by the heroes of the story and turns back time to exact revenge upon them.

This story is similar to Failure Frame's concept and The Rising of the Shield Hero concept. It is pretty unique in its form because instead of exacting revenge he pretty much just indulges in sexual activities with the people he wants revenge on.

Overall ... I did enjoy this story although I do wish there was less sexual content.

Should watch it but don't watch if ur under 16.

HOO BOY, I've been on the fence and don't really wanna talk about this one, but since it has already garnered quite the reputation for being the latest show in a series of "Hell of a Dumpster Fire" shitstorm of "dark, voluptuous and edgy power fantasy" series to come out of the unhinged "I can't believe it's not 𝐻Ǝ𝒩𝒯𝒜𝐼" degenerate culture of a "genre", might as well give it a go. Anything and whatever goes for the most gut-wrenching guilty pleasure of the season, and I already know that I'm gonna get flamed for this...BUT I DON'T CARE TWO FLYING F*CKS, because as a straight ... male (too bad I ain't one with an abalone), I may choose to say that I absolutely hated this show to oblivion, but deep within the depths of the rabbit hole...lies PEAK FICTIONAL SATISFACTION. I've already warned you AT THE VERY BEGINNING that if advices from The Anime Man or Gigguk (and eventually Mother's Basement) aren't enough WORD for you to drop this show, be my guest, because you're about to enter this deep hellhole of what Joey describes it best: 𝓡𝓮𝓿𝓮𝓷𝓰𝓮 𝓟ở𝓻𝓷: The Anime. WTF Japan!?

To understand what Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi a.k.a Redo of Healer all about, let's go through the checklist of tips of what defines a killer revenge story plot:
1) Motivation for revenge is key! It can’t be something petty, or make the hero look weak (e.g. enacting revenge on a girl for breaking his heart aged 16 just makes him look like he’s never grown up!) It needs to be bigger than this, so…
2) Make the reason something juicy and multi-layered to add motivation and keep the reader (and even the heroine) guessing why it has affected him so deeply.
3) Beware the revenge plot based on a misunderstanding: This can get very frustrating for the audience!
4) Spare a thought for the person in the wrong: Their behavior needs to be just as, if not more, well motivated as the person seeking revenge years later! Perhaps they did something bad, but for a very good reason...?
5) There needs to be more to your character than just a thirst for revenge that has consumed and driven them for decades. Otherwise they may seem like a crazed psychopath, or even worse, a pantomime, 2D villain!
6) Remember, revenge is not an emotional conflict! What else will keep your characters apart (or together) once they’ve resolved the issues that trigger the revenge plot?
7) Heroes/Heroines out for revenge...use with caution! They can work brilliantly, but he/she must be very well-motivated as it is essential your hero/heroine has the readers’ empathy.
8) A revenge plot is, by definition, driven by characters pushed to their emotional limits. If you’re drawn towards very dark-hearted heroes seeking vengeance for past sins, you might need to work that bit harder to persuade us why why should fall in love with him...especially if his behaviour is particularly outrageous!
9) The power balance in a revenge plot is inevitably skewed towards the avenger...so make sure the other character has personal traits that allow them to balance this out!
10) And the best way to seek revenge...well, in the bedroom of course 😉 (for some series!) They do say it’s best served hot...!

And does the main no-nonsense wreck of a "homewrecker" MC that is Keyaru fit all, or most of these descriptions? Yes and no. Maybe that's why author Rui Tsukiyo's research that more women than men are drawn towards this, it's tip-top "Redo Wednesday Culture" levels of degeneracy that's unprecedented ever since SAO's "rape" scenes, Berserk's "rape" levels of brutality, Shield Hero's misogynistic "revenge" plot (that gave the justice that it did), and Goblin Slayer's premiere episode of pure goblin-on-human "rape" thrashing. ALL OF THAT, combined with the emotions of watching Interspecies Reviewers' levels of 𝐻Ǝ𝒩𝒯𝒜𝐼 plot that's like Rance IN EVERY POSSIBLE WAY. Hey guys, we're witnessing modern classics in the Winter season, from Attack on Titan, to Ex-Arm, and now this one. Pure "goodness" that's simply unrivalled upon the depths of the trashiest "masterpiece" anime ever made and seen on the deepest depths of the earth.

Want to know how the MC Keyaru is like? I'll do the honours in the form of a meme:

Keyaru is a healing magician who can use healing magic to save every human being, because it's the strongest class.
Keyaru is subdued and subjected to pretty much EVERY SINGLE kind of torture you can think of.
Keyaru is being drugged, being forced to submit from both genders' misogynistic ways of torture, from NTR to pure rape.
Keyaru has lost everything related to him: the village, his family and his purity/virginity.
Keyaru longs for revenge upon this corrupt kingdom who's been hampering the liberty of its citizens and subjecting them to death without trial.
Keyaru is smart to find out that he can "Heal" the corrupt world by Redo-ing everything, thus so...
Be like Keyaru. "Heal" all the pent-up revenge, and f*ck away with his toys.

I wouldn't be complaining if Keyaru was already a broken human being both physically and mentally, he is WIRED to be like that by the very kingdom that houses him, along with the other "Heroes" who are also broken in their mentality and thought processes a lot to subjugate whatever the hell they're up against, let alone someone who they can use as a tool. And yes, everyone in this revenge story are TOOLS: SEX TOYS if I can infer best. All the sexual fanservice favourable girls here are also like Keyaru, mentally broken by whatever circumstances that deem them as usable tools with all of the bestiality that's going on, whether human or beast. Keyaru treasures his tools and friends well, and that's about as "morally" good or bad this shitshow has grown to be, with the popularity that even trumps established series in sales...BECAUSE SEX SELLS.

If there's a studio that is infamous enough to do shitshows like these, you know that you know there's ONLY ONE who can do the job one-up better: TNK. School Days, High School DxD, Sin: Nanatsu no Taizai, even Senran Kagura. There's no shortage of raunchy Ecchi shows that only this. You definitely get what you're "paying" your eyes and ears for when you're watching a show made by TNK: it's purely for the "plot", and nothing else. Don't watch the censored version, watch the Complete (Uncensored) Recovery version. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

You know the music, it's pretty much straight-up 𝐻Ǝ𝒩𝒯𝒜𝐼-ish, it's as if you're watching a gory and violent version of Rance! But if there's someone to thank for the nightmare-ish feelings, it's Keyaru's VA Yuya Hazumi. He's a relatively new Seiyuu, but to think that Keyaru would be his very first work (if you discount the very mediocre Actors: Songs Connection) at being the main character, as someone would say: "He probably slays all the thots IRL with that mighty chad voice." or "I bet he gets plenty of PUSSIES spawning behind him every time he speaks...CHAD." Even to Flare/Freya's VA Ayano Shibuya, this is her 3rd Seiyuu work (and the first main character work), you can tell just by the "rape" scene that she's incredibly talented. Always have known Minami Kuribayashi for some great songs, and the OP is no different, as is ARCANA PROJECT for the ED. Such parallels between tainted dark terror and pure white innocence that I can't get enough of.

Are you ready for the no-nonsense Porno adventure that reeks full of some of the most fanatical and fantastic garbage shit, because Redo of Healer is inviting you into a trance of an "adventure of a lifetime", one that is not boring, and there's some degeneracy to be had to grow on you. This is NOT for the faint-hearted dweebs who love to complain or shit about it, and if you do, prepared to be slayed by the revenge edge lord that is our Master and Lord Keyarga, Saviour of the World.

Not an anime to watch if you have past issues with forced non consensual intercourse.
this anime has some good plot pullers, but its very difficult to watch at times, i watched it once because a buddy suggested watching it.
but i'll never watch it again in the future, and i love rewatching short animes all the time. but this is not one i'll rewatch.
art style and music were good for an anime of this time, definitely on par with other animes of todays day and age.
character flaws were definitely discussed in great detail as the show focuses on past trauma and revenge.
story was definitely unique, and ... had some good parts to it, but i still strongly advise against watching it.

It's just rage-bait. In retrospect, it shouldn't be surprising that every edgy fourteen year old pounced on it the second it came out. There's not much to say about the story, since anything that happens in the story only exists to explain whatever sex scene is happening. It's literally just revenge porn marketed as anime so they can get sales from aforementioned edgy teens. Nothing to write home about, and definitely nothing to go into detail about.

As I mentioned, the story and characters only exist to justify the porn. No characters are particularly likeable or unlikeable, since there's not much to say about them. ... Of course, you have your comically evil villains, and your comically evil main character, which some incels will claim is commentary about how women suck (actual take I read during its prime). Some people will talk about how it's problematic, but well, no shit. It's not as mind or industry breaking as some hornballs claimed, which is why it was forgotten after a good three months. The fanbase being full of misogynystic immature people who idolize people like Andrew Tate says enough.

Not everyone will appreciate this anime. Its content is intended for mature audiences due to the presence of themes like abuse and gore. If you're someone who is sensitive to these topics, it's advisable to steer clear of watching it. The story is about a hero named Keyaru, who has the power to heal. However, the other heroes treat him very poorly, even enslaving and torturing him. Keyaru seeks revenge and goes back in time to a point before he meets the other heroes. This is ... where the story takes a dark turn, and Keyaru becomes an evil protagonist. The story is compelling because there is no clear "good" side.

The animation and the soundtrack are good. Overall, the story is quite impressive. If you can handle sex, abuse, and gore in a fictional story, then I would recommend trying this anime.

Another interesting thing about ... the series is I feel this show REALLY pushes the envelope when it comes to it's content too. I don't think I've ever seen a proper anime adaptation this crazy before. I'm really curious how this will play out, epically with western audiences.

Kaifuku tries to be a dark, power-fantasy revenge story but makes some fatal mistakes that stop it from being good. I will spoil a little about the contents of some episodes but will minimize these as much as possible. Also, I watched the uncensored version because I wanted the clearest possible depiction of the creators' vision.

1 - The set up sucks.
The audience needs to sympathize with the main character, otherwise all we see is an asshole doing asshole things. We need to see who the main character is before the transgressions against them and how they change. We need to be angered or horrified ... when those things happen so that, when the main character gets their revenge, it's satisfying. How does Kaifuku handle this? It starts at the point where the main character is already pushed past the point of no return. We see some horrifying things happen to him, yes, but we never get anything to make us care for him. He starts as this vengeful, broken person with no clear direction for his character to develop. Even worse, a lot of the scenes that are supposed to establish the wrongs against him are sabotaged by being quickly cut flashbacks or ecchi scenes with lighthearted music. The main character is being raped but the music says, "haha isn't this scene hilarious?" Gross. Which brings me to the next point...

2 - The revenge seems disproportionate.
On paper, you could argue that Keyaru lets his victims off easy. The issue is with how the anime portrays the set up and revenge. The scenes showcasing transgressions against him are quickly cut and voiced over with him vowing to get revenge. Then, when a scene of him getting even comes along, the show slows way down to relish in the scene. Since none of the characters have really made an impression in the audience yet and the set up hasn't made us care for Keyaru, we might as well be watching this graphic revenge rape scene out of context. While she isn't developed enough to really deserve sympathy either, this kinda draws a little sympathy for his abuser. It appears as though what Keyaru is doing is way worse and even overboard. Contributing to this problematic portrayal is...

3 - The framing itself is problematic.
Kaifuku makes frequent uses of what I call "porno angles." For an example, look at the opening shot of the show: it starts at a character's midriff and pans up to her face, keeping enough of her breasts in frame so that you aren't distracted by her expression of fear and shame. These kinds of shots serve only to sexually titillate the viewer and really undermine any narrative power the scene might have. Keyaru's scenes where he's supposed to be a victim have a lot of these, taking away sympathy for him. They end up in the revenge scenes too, but that's problematic for different reasons which are better suited for a broader, non-review discussion. Even worse, though, is how...

4 - The writing is doo-doo water.
A lot of character lines are either:
a) exposition dumping the setting, surface character traits (like abilities), or plot in the least interesting ways possible
b) repeating the word "drugs" to portray a drug addiction
The first is bad storytelling 101 but the second is undercutting another way to sympathize with the characters. The show's writing is lacking any subtlety, instead spoonfeeding you the story so that it can get to the rape scene quicker. The pacing blasts through building sympathy for Keyaru and explaining his convoluted OP abilities so it can hang on the sensualized revenge scene for 10 minutes. After that first big revenge scene we see a similarly handled scene to build sympathy for Keyaru, but by this point it's a little late to make us care for him. He's already started his revenge, so now it just looks like he's some character we don't know too well getting what he deserves for the horrific things he did to that other character (who we don't really care for either but what he did was still pretty fucked up). Had they shown these scenes in chronological order, emphasizing his suffering, then the revenge scene would feel more like justice than just a horrific crime. It seems like the writer(s) just wanted to rush to gratification without putting any work in the build up. If this structure sounds familiar, it should. I'll come back to this in a second.

5 - Everything else is okay.
The music, art, and animation are all serviceable and functional. Nothing really jumps out as horrible, but nothing really stands out as great either. The characters are flat and bland at best. The setting is your usual fantasy isekai-like. Without the shock value from the poorly directed and written sensationalized scenes, Kaifuku would just be another generic anime footnote.

In conclusion and summary, Kaifuku fails as a dark power-fantasy revenge story. It's not really dark when it needs to be because it sensualizes those scenes. It's not a revenge story because it tried to be cute with the order without putting in the effort to make that work. It gets the power-fantasy part right I suppose, but (as explained in the anime) Keyaru's powers seem more like convenient cop-outs and don't make a lot of sense. It rushes through the story to give the viewer the "gratification" of those sensualized scenes. Sensitive subject matters like rape and drug addiction are handled like treats (in heterosexual situations, which is another discussion for outside a review) or like insignificant background details, respectively. You know what else does all these things? Porn. Kaifuku is written, directed, and shot like a porno. They made a hentai and edited it (slightly) for TV release.

If you want a compelling dark fantasy story, it's not here. Watch something else or read Berserk or something. If you just want porn, though? Still don't watch Kaifuku. Keep an eye on its rule34 tag, the uncensored versions of the scenes you want will probably end up there eventually. The context for them barely existed outside of the synopsis anyway.

Episode 4:
The bulk of this review was written before episode 4 came out, but from this point onwards I've watched it. All of my points still apply. The possibility for some good writing shows up, except any chance for it to develop gets obliterated by the end of the episode. They'd need astronomical levels of plot convenience to make it work. Really all this revealed was that they don't want to make Kaifuku good (big surprise).

This is a pure revenge story, it doesn't pull its punches like other animes, no redemptions, no forgiveness, no BS power of friendship to save the day, no secret backstory that conveniently redeems the villain, none of that crap is here.

The world of Redo of Healer is gritty and unforgiving, and if the MC wants to survive in it, it has to pay others in the same way he was treated, is a complete dark story without any of the cliches another series fall in.

In summary, if you want to watch an unaltered series about hate, revenge, and the real consequences of it, Redo ... of Healer has you covered.

If you wanna see an anime that makes light of one of the most traumatic events a person can experience featuring unbelievable characters, very poor and cheap writing and one of the most unlikable powerfantasy MC then this anime is for you.

One of the bigget problem this anime has is that the main driving force of the plot (the MC trauma) is brushed away with a quick montage making this plot point in my opinion seems like a cheap way to justify and create catharsis for the upcomign events in a way better revenge story like Oldboy the traumatic event is experienced fully and is ... lingered on making the sequence dredful for the audience and characthers both in this anime insted its just a poorly written excuse for the plot the characters are paper thin and are not well developed the whole thing seems written by some hack writer.

To summorize the last point there are way better revenge stories out there and the events that unfold in this anime are used for shock value and little else i suspect that either the author dosent understand the implications of the traumatic event or he simply didnt want to tarnish the powe fantasy with interesting charachter development.

What you are left with if you ignore the poor plot and story points used for the shock value and little else is a poorly written p**n that frames its revenge r*pe scenes not as an orrific thing or even moraly dubius but as something to jerk off im not exagerating when i say that the scense are framed in the same way an hentai would.

Maybe if you can stand the MC and dont mind the contrived plot you can still enjoy the revenge story in this anime but you can find way better stuff that is a little bit more mature and interesting and not and incel edgleord fantasy.

P.S. I see a lot of people praising this show just because its offensive and i just wanna point out that there are a LOT of media that uses stuff that is just as explicit (and some even more) the difference is that this anime is poorly written trash and the people giving this anime 10s for political reasons are kinda embarasing i also wanna add that it is okay to like trash i like a lot of bad shows too and there is nothing wrong with that but dont pretend its high art.

Redo of Healer is not something to watch. But to experience it.

Redo of Healer… Where do I even start? I am writing this now as what comes to my head as I just finished re-watching redo of healer. Yes, I Re-Watched This doo doo show. And NO, I did not watch the sex scenes again. I SKIPPED them (eventhough I watched it in uncensored version, I get the gist of what im doing in my life..but goddamn this even makes it worse). I only rewatched the first 4 episodes because I wasn’t fully invested halfway through the episode because of how eerie it is. Now ... first off, as I started watching anime back in March 2021, I began my journey of just watching anime. As I progress through social media just to browse to my watchlist. It came to my eyes that there's this one show that can easily meming through Facebook, Reddit, MAL, AniList, etc. And this was the show. Redo of Healer or Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi. As I scroll through these platforms. I began my research as to what this story is and thinking. “What could go wrong”?. More only. People said that this is the worst anime ever or Best anime ever (according to the sources that I found in this website). Only generic or incel people can say the “Best” about this show. But you know what. Let people think what’s best or worst. I don’t really like antagonizing the show when it comes to other users' ratings. Because all the ratings in MAL and some other websites are a bit rigged.
And here’s my motto:
“Watch it and move On.”

Now let's jump right into the story.
We already hear and see the generic voice with Naked Flare-same on the screen. “Like damn, I wasn’t ready yet but GODDayyUMM. They did make this show quite interesting with Keyaru saying everything in past-sentences''. And he talks about how his life was over but then… Even more antagonizing voice has risen to Keyaru’s words that he can go back in time and redo everything. But not everything, he will redo his life but him being the maniac this time that he can brutalize and erase all the memories of all the people who’ve hurt him. As we progress through the first episode. We reached the point where he was innocently sweet fellow villager from the alternate time, and while he was doing his farming business, he was conducted with an Apple. Yes, an Apple. Which led to him having his memories back from the alternate time where he’s back to his Generic Over Power MC himself. And he began to theorize every way possible for him to get his revenge. Of course, he got it every way possible. And I almost forgot to say that there are Seggs scenes, a lot of them. But not as many as actual hentai anime. I am not a man of culture, but I do watch a lot of Pron. Which they are seemingly familiar.

People need to re-watch this twice just to make sure if you did enjoy the STORY. Not The SEGGS scenes. The first watch is just for fun. Have a great time. And Second re-watch is a must Understanding if you still can handle it.

Story- I don’t like it. It’s trash. I don’t recommend this even as a Hentai show. So don’t watch it.
Art- It’s a fine art but the outlandishness of the world isn’t really good and I don't like how mostly ugly the characters are.
Worldbuilding- It has some nice environments but it's so empty most of the time.
Character- Uhhhh.
Enjoyment- Not even close
OVERALL- 1/10

I will put this as a highly recommended show. It's not that I liked it, but need someone to experience this with me.

I only watched this because of my increasing curiosity for what exactly is so crazy about this show, which I am sure why most people did. I picked it up late in the season after my curiosity reached its maximum level. It is unfortunate to say, and I am disgusted in myself for saying this, but the only entertaining parts of this show are the ones that are problematic, other parts are excruciatingly boring. I genuinely kept watching just because my goddamn OCD has been nagging my brain saying ‘Yo, you’ve already watched 6 episodes of this garbage, so might as well just finish it’. ... And that is the only reason why I am here today with this review, thank you OCD, you are truly a great and totally not toxic friend. I’m not sure if I should say that this will be spoiler free or if I need to, because I don’t think there even was an interesting plot to begin with that is worth not spoiling?

This story is a classic revenge tale, where our main protagonist Keyaru is seeking retribution because of the wrongdoings inflicted upon him by a bunch of cunts. Apologies, I shouldn’t have said such a rude word, how about a bunch of fucking assholes. God, all the characters are so rubbish, that I needed shock therapy after what I witnessed these people say and do. I will get to the characters later though. I can’t even tell you what exactly the story is about, as it really is just a wank-off fantasy, where the main character is OP for no apparent reason and easily clears his way through his enemies. Along with that, he can also change his appearance (with his totally logical and very well thought out magic) and that means he can become any hottie he wants, ALSO he’s incredibly charismatic as well and every woman wants to get down on her knees and suc-…. So, this is a harem isekai? Nope, it just has all the bad, cliché tropes of a harem-isekai without being one. Nothing remotely interesting happens in the story, it just basically is a bit of plot oop-… a mandatory sex scene, bit of plot oop-… a mandatory sex scene.

The characters are worse than the plot. Our main character Keyaru is, as I stated previously, just a classic situation of a character that would make some IRL weirdo wanting to pretend that he is also like the over-powered, clever, and seemingly charismatic sex god MC who will fuck the world back to righteousness. He’s written as someone that you shouldn’t sympathize with, because even if he is seeking vengeance, he does it in an amoral way. He even has that Light Yagami/Lelouch laugh. Which is like so hilariously corny, are you really trying to pull off a Light Yagami, Lelouch character in a what clearly is a hentai ‘anime’? Then let’s talk about Flare, who originally was the main tormenter of Keyaru, and later becomes one of his harem GF’s and from there is just a boring trophy waifu with not much personality except from her undying love and obsession with the main character. Her blissful ignorance about her past and acting only as one of the main character’s ‘toys’ is so fun to watch if you’re tired of watching paint dry. Then we have Setsuna, who started out as one of the more interesting characters with her backstory and her being a demi-human, but then later just becoming the same character as Flare, but the loli/furry version of her. Also, Setsuna’s only motivation is to become stronger with the help of the main character’s……. juices… God help me. Norn, who is the younger sister of Flare, is supposed to be this insanely clever and devious woman who is the only person in the world who can rival with the main character, and she is set up to be the main villain of this season, but in the end there’s nothing unique or interesting about her. She’s just dangerous because she’s not afraid of doing fucked up shit, I guess. But I thought most of the characters are like that? The rest of the Heroes who abused Keyaru are just some psychotic bimbos with a personality quirk attached to them. They are all basically evil for the sake of being evil, no motivation, no backstory. The rest of the characters are so unimportant and trash that I have nothing to say about them.

The magic system is garbage. That’s it. That’s all it is. It makes no sense, why is the main character, suddenly able to do everything with just his healing magic? It was explained (kind of????), but it was explained so vaguely and idiotically that I just gave up. AND THE JUICES THING. Mate…wot. The horny weirdos are probably loving that fantasy.

Music is basically forgettable, cliché fantasy music that felt at times like it was just taken from The Sims 3 Medieval, and the opening and closing song is…I don’t even remember it. Although it’s not bad, just generic and derivative. The animation is mediocre and passable but sometimes bad with how the few fighting sequences went. I was more invested in an Ex-Arm fight scene rather than the ones provided here. They truly did spend all their budget on the mandatory (AT LEAST ONE) sex scene per episode than anything else.

I’m not sure if the show wants its viewers to take it seriously. But if it does not want to do that, then what the hell is the point of this show? If it is trying to do a serious story about revenge - then it is failing miserably. If it is trying to act as a majestic piece of jack-off material then I’m sorry buddy, just go watch regular hentai cause this ain’t it. And do keep in mind, that I haven’t even mentioned any specifics about the problematic scenes that would make Twitter go wild. This was all just what the plot and the characters that did it. For the people saying that you might be some sort of pussy or specifically saying that ‘you are weak minded’ and that is the reason you cannot enjoy the show. I disagree, but go off sis. If you strip this show down to its core and remove the edgy scenes that it has, it is still redundant boring and not worth anyone’s time. But with the edgy scenes, currently Redo of Healer is utterly pointless, graceless, and tasteless. #redoofhealerisoverparty

I will make myself clear, tihis shit is not for everyone, you have to be crazy and bad of your head to enjoy it... but why I think this is a masterpiece? you can think whatever you want about this series, and its rigth, you can think this is a piece of complete bullshit and the worst thing you have ever watch, or a great series of how fuck up are things and enjoy it, theres no wrong opinions on this series, and thats great.

this somehow make it to television in japan, this is Legal Hentai, the protagonist and his vengance story is incredible, and ... dont know how in their sane mind would said, lets make this a thing, and here we haved.

Like I said before you have to be crazy to watch this and enjoy it, and im saying really crazy, this is very ard to watch cause of how graphic can it become. You can think whatever you want of this series and theres no problem, this is ablsolute trash and a glorius series at the same time.

I don't see anything wrong with enjoying this show by turning your brain off or you're just filled with lust, everyone gets those moments and feelings. But objectively I see nothing good with this show. The main protagonist (Keyaru) is just a clinically insane dude that can use the power of heal to pretty much do anything which already puts me off, and the show is filled with the same generic "edge" where it's just nothing but pointless shock factor and nothing more. Keyaru and everyone else is so one dimensional as they are simply not given enough time, and this isn't really just an ... adaptation problem. I read the manga and light novel before this and they both just don't seem to take the Keyaru's revenge seriously as the time for him to reverse the world's time with his "healing" and him deciding his revenge was all cramped into a couple chapters. Every time the main protagonist meets a new girl he just manipulates the crap out of them and somehow they all fall in love conveniently and that's it for the other characters. There's literally 0 buildup for any of these characters. I am not sure how this isn't even a hentai considering the plot convenience of the healing power bullcrap and having to have intercourse to level up for the sake of maximizing fanservice. If this was meant to be a hentai, than I would understand this show more yet this show tries to come out as a serious dark fantasy and that is just insulting to other great dark fantasy shows like Berserk and Claymore.

greatest anime of the century, i do not think i will watch any other anime from now on because it would all just be dull compared to this absolute masterpiece. i think about fucking setsuna's asshole every night before i sleep and every morning when i wake up. thank you for this, peak literature. the only complaint i could possibly have about this work of art is that bullet did not fuck keyaru enough, and keyaru also needs to get with eve, but she definitely was hotter in the first episode. i would reccomend this show to anyone who likes um sword art online, naruto, ... kill me baby, or league of legends. it is very good :D
