If you are a fan of the game, you will NOT enjoy this. If you remember certain side quests from the games where some iconic enemies appear, they will appear in different areas with original stories tied to them-- in a bad way. Maybe the last few minutes of the first episode and some of the last episode are the only things from the games plot that somewhat made it in. That's it. Not a single supporting character from the game made it in. The rest of the show is nothing but liberties taken from the studio without adapting the games actual story. They conclude read more

What is the best way to conceive an adaptation? There is no right answer, whether from graphic novel to movies or video games to anime. But unquestionably, all of them are prone to displease different kinds of people. A faithful adaptation that transcribes all the original essence of a feature film or classical literature into another medium tends to be better received by the audience. Just look at Coen Brothers’ No Country for Old Men. Taking personal liberties with the source material can bring a wide range of results, and usually, the worst of them are the most remembered. Nevertheless, a significant positive precedent of read more

I liked it. It's not a great show, but it's pretty good for what it is.
Many fans will be disappointed by how it picks up the Dragon/Arisen tale and combines it with the concept of Sin. Personally, I was surprised but not appalled by it. Especially since we know of the 7 Sins concept since the show's OP has been made public.

Dragon's Dogma, in my opinion, is not a story about exactly one tale that has been depicted in the Dragon's Dogma game, but a term for a universe setting involving key mechanics which are the Arisens, Pawns and Dragons in question: A franchise. See read more

This show is just weird. I now it is based off a game and the animation is really good it's just kinda felt rushed and the ending felt like it went nowhere for a seven episodes it kind went in a circle we really only see one character develop and it's not even the main one. I don't know what to say about this show except it had really good pacing and animation and that is about as far as it goes. I kinda wish that the end could of had a different ending but since it followed the game it just had that game read more
