AGAIN AND AGAIN, AND AGAIN I have been tricked into watching hentai. I thought this was a shounen ai/boys love anime (as mal tagged it as) filled with male fan-service, and if that was the case I would be satisfied of what I had watched.
BUT this is actually a hentai, so I guess mal has its work to do.

This review may be a bit short because there is not much to cover since there are only eight episodes and they are all five minutes long.

The story: University student Asumi came to Naruse household to be a housekeeper for his part-time job. The family consists of ... a single-father and a son Ichika. Among them, the father Naruse is too sexy for Asumi!! Even if he is not gay, Asumi gets conscious of Keiichi, and when he noticed that Keiichi is sexually unsatisfied by noticing him watching adult video in his room, he would unconsciously get tempted to attack him…! "Naruse-san, you're too sexy for a father with a child...!"


Papa Datte Shitai based off a manga by the same name and written by serina, seo, and it’s getting adapted by magic bus, that’s literally the best studio name ever.
I never heard of the manga, either I’m living under a rock or it’s one of them berried yaoi/hentai manga.
If you are wondering who the uke is and who the seme is, the uke is kouya asumi and the seme is keiichi naruse.
I personally didn’t like kouya asumi overall I really hate characters like him.
And I found keiichi naruse really charming and sweet.

I was happy with the drama scenes, they had a lot of emotion put into them, and that’s quite rare to see in a yaoi/hentai.
The animation was quite poor, the characters faces looked horrible.

Story: 5/10

Art: 3/10 definitely the weakest thing in this show.

Sound: 9/10 I loved the ending theme it was such a bop.

Character: 6/10 the kid and keiichi were quite cute, hated asumi tho.

Enjoyment: 5/10

Overall: 5/10 a very average yaoi I didn’t have much to offer.
I wouldn’t recommend this to many people, it was really average.

Legit I thought I was going to drop the 6th episode because this seemed like a rather average shounen ai that had no empathy for its art as well as it's storyline. However, after an hour of overthinking stupid nonsense such as asking myself if the characters are gonna end up happily ever after or what, I might as well just watch the last 2 episodes. I did that and oddly enough it change my mind a bit.

I'm still not a big fan of the art as well as it's slow pacing, but the characters were totally cute for each other. Funny enough, I ... have not seen much of gay dads in the Yaoi/shounen anime world so it was kinda nice for a change that they did add this to the anime collection.

I do recommend this anime if you're a shounen ai fan, Yaoi fan or neither lol..

I honestly was very disappointed with the storyline. It's very mediocre and is filled with plot holes that don't add up and are just ignored as the story goes on. You'd think the plot would be straight-forward and get to the point being each around 5 minutes, but it seemed a bit too rushed in the making. (Story:6)

To be fair, I gave the character a 3 because the main protagonist swears up and DOWN he's not gay like sir- did you- are you- ok<3. But on a serious note, there wasn't really too much depth to the characters. The character development was decent nothing too ... notable honestly. But overall the characters just seemed "hallow". (Character:4)

There was a cute and short melody for the intro and outro. They were very fitting for the show and were very sweet as well. (Sound: 5)

The artwork was decent, no real complaints could be made as I really enjoy an early 2000's style of anime at any time. Nothing notable here as well. The simpleness of the characters was very fitting to their aura and the story's overall standing. (Art: 6)

Even though I watched through the whole thing, I didn't really enjoy it nor dislike it. (Enjoyment: 3)

Overall: It was a very mediocre yaoi animation. I wouldn't really recommend this to anyone unless you're looking for something short and mildly entertaining I suppose. It was pretty neutral for me.
