Preliminary Spoiler

This anime is about an adult falling in love with a minor. The art style is very cute and the characters are unique, I'll give it that, but every other aspect of this anime gave me a headache. I was way too pissed about someone in their early to mid 20s falling in love with a 16 year old to even remotely enjoy anything outside of the art. There isn't that much of a story anyway. This whole thing is about a cat boy living with someone that's way too old to be in love with him. Please don't support pedophilia. It's extremely wrong and ...

Preliminary (10/12 eps)
The story is about a young man who has to deal with a cat boy who just kind of shows up and starts living with him. The plot seems to be completely incidental- every event exists only to prompt more cute moments- but because of the short episode length (about 3 minutes each) it doesn't really matter. The characters- mangaka Da Shu and his new roommate, felinoid twink Miao, aren't exactly 3 dimensional jump-out-of-the-screen characters, but they're still entertaining to watch, and there is a massive moe element to Miao- I just want to hug him! The art style is also very fun, simplistic, ...

I reccomend you watch both series. This and its sequal series is a happy show for happy people. Simple as that.

You can't possibly miss the allegory here. But I think you need both series to get the full effect. It's like a family friendly, all ages hand out from the Center. Something to help your toddler understand you and your friend. Or maybe for you and your friend after a session of pet names and baby talk.

It's sad some need to bring up issues. Reminds me of the joke about two guys kissing one of them jumping up and yelling "No Homo!"... or was that ...

I watched this series twice. the first time, i remember watching it but kind of half assed and i dropped it because something felt off to me. 2 years later, and i decided to rewatch it. i liked the first few episodes, and then i remembered what felt off. the main character is very very clearly a full grown adult, and miao is 16? and this is romance? he doesn't even seem that bothered by the fact either. it feels really weird to me, i would rather watch another anime that doesn't include a weird relationship between a caretaker and a kid.

Preliminary (11/12 eps)
The characters are either too simple, too nebulous, or have barely any personality to speak of. The initial concept is decent, it the execution would require several huge changes. I only realized why I felt uneasy (and not in the psych horror or something leaves me) at the 11th episode, which is when I remembered why I stopped reading the webcomic after about 6 episodes. The brunette is the 27 year old mc and the love interest is a very VERY naive 16 year old boy. This was addressed multiple times, I'm pretty sure. I'm genuinely confused in how this got greenlit for 2 seasons ...
