it's a very cute shounen ai manga about two kendo players who fall in love, with the twist that one of them has the "power" to randomly turn into a hamster. not really a power, he just turns into a hamster at inconvenient moments. it's a fun dynamic, the two main characters have a good dynamic together. a sort of rivals to lovers story! the story was pretty basic but cute, i thought the art style was nice. the main characters were relatable. there is one sex scene, if you care about that kind of thing, but that's pretty standard for this kind of story. ... lol, you don't miss anything if you don't read it.

I watched this series twice. the first time, i remember watching it but kind of half assed and i dropped it because something felt off to me. 2 years later, and i decided to rewatch it. i liked the first few episodes, and then i remembered what felt off. the main character is very very clearly a full grown adult, and miao is 16? and this is romance? he doesn't even seem that bothered by the fact either. it feels really weird to me, i would rather watch another anime that doesn't include a weird relationship between a caretaker and a kid.
