The characters are either too simple, too nebulous, or have barely any personality to speak of. The initial concept is decent, it the execution would require several huge changes. I only realized why I felt uneasy (and not in the psych horror or something leaves me) at the 11th episode, which is when I remembered why I stopped reading the webcomic after about 6 episodes. The brunette is the 27 year old mc and the love interest is a very VERY naive 16 year old boy. This was addressed multiple times, I'm pretty sure. I'm genuinely confused in how this got greenlit for 2 seasons ... and I'm kind of surprised it has such a high rating.
