MyAnimeList
MBS's late night anime programming block which currently airs on Saturdays from 1:55-2:55. Anime where the main character is particularly intelligent compared to the other characters and their cleverness and strategy plays a large role in the plot of the story, especially if they put their plans into action off-screen. Ever wanted a list of every 2020s anime that has had a clawfoot bathtub appear in it? No, well too bad. Bromance, Male friendship, Rivalry, Ambiguous ambiance, Fujo-bait you know where it lead. There is a ton of series non shounen-ai/BL tagged that contains "I SHIP THEM" or "SHIP HAS SAILED" moments. The anime stack of mostly all-male casts which is original or adapted from mangas/novels. No romance anime here (yes there are some who fell in love but romance isn't the main plot). I won't include the sequels because the stack is limited to 50 so you gotta find them out by yourself. Classic mystery whodunnits or police detectives solving cases involving murder, theft, etc. with a limited number of suspects. Mostly episodic rather than a full series with only one plot/case. Some listings with supernatural elements but only if it fits the 'detective' part of it. Title says it all. This list focuses on animes where the main theme is mystery (some kind of detective/supernatural help agency might be involved) and the 2 main characters have some kind of thing going on (with varying levels of canon-ness) This stack is dedicated to the so-called "Ikemen Onna" or as they are better known in the West, Prince-ish girls. That is, cool androgynous female characters who look incredibly handsome and act like fairytale princes, which makes them incredibly popular with girls. Initially, such characters appeared only in shoujo anime as one of its classic moe and yuri archetypes, but subsequently ikemen onna began to appear more and more outside of female media, often playing the role of action female MC in various all-female and not so anime. All these anime's include very shippable characters who mostly have no other person in the anime you could possibly ship them with. This is a marketing ploy because this makes anime/ships very popular as well as being apart of the lgbtqia+ community is not openly embraced by any Asian media. A lot of these anime's has novels, manga chps, side manga, official art, and drama cds that are very suggestive or downright very gay. They have all have very suggestive scenes in the animes as well including op, ed, end credits that are very fruity. An assorted stack of anime series with some talented detectives and mind-boggling mysteries to uncover. Highly recommended for fans who love to put on a thinking cap and wrap their head around, trying to unravel secrets alongside the protagonists. 'Buddy cop is a genre with plots involving two people of very different and conflicting personalities who are forced to work together to solve a crime and/or defeat criminals, sometimes learning from each other in the process' - wikipedia well guys, I filled up stack #1, located here: https://myanimelist.net/stacks/6201 Animes with autistic main characters (that specifically focus on their autistic traits). |
