OMG issa isekai y'all. who'da thunk one of those would come out. Oh, what's that? It's actually super charming and overall good with a huge budget for stellar animation? Well I guess it's worth checking out then.

Dude gets killed, wakes up in another dimension as a lowly slime. PLOT TWIST he's super powerful. One thing I absolutely love about this show is that it justified it's main character being overpowered. Aside from the inherent resistances that come with being a slime. The MC eats an elemental dragon and then grinds for a month in the cave he spawned in. Then, after literally clearing the ... cave out, he leaves and goes on a wild adventure making new friends and unexpected allies. The story never gets too complicated, so sit back an relax.

Like I said before, the art is great. The team clearly got plenty of money and time to make the show look good. Even the CG animation isn't too egregious and is sparsely used.

Outside of the a good OP and ED, the music was mostly ambient. The sound effects ranged a little. Explosion and other magic sound good. Physical combat had some generic sword clanging noises, but the hand to hand stuff sounded good.

The character designs are good. There are a ton of reoccurring characters and none of them look alike. The characteristics of these characters are pretty generic though. There are a few good comedy characters but most of the others fit into a stereotype. The good news is that, much like with a big j-pop or k-pop group, with so many characters you are bound to like at least one of them.

My overall enjoyment was clearly enough to stay invested till the end. My enjoyment only tanked at the last bit when the MC goes to help some kids with their powers. It was kind of a boring way to end a 24 ep. run. However, with there being an ep. 24.5 out and the show being massively popular, I'm guessing we are getting another season.

I would recommend the show. However, binging might be a bad idea as the show has a lot of story arcs, events and character introductions occur in rapid succession. It might be exhausting.

Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken is an isekai that came out of nowhere and went back to the sources of the genre
After exploring the tragedy (Re: Zero) and the comedy (Konosuba), the genre returns to a version seemingly simpler and more refined, but that is all the more pleasant

Story : 8/10
Classic. Simple but not boring, it takes a relatively common scenario among the isekai genre : a lambda man (who for once is not a NEET, a good point to clarify) dies and is reincarnated in another world, a ... world threatened by the forces of evil.
However it is the fact that the protagonist is an overpowered slime that changes everything: here the character does not seek to gain power but in a first time discovers the world, then wants to build something
The story is quite different from a SAO (I will often mention SAO in this review, get used to it) but remains within the limits of the specifications of a traditional isekai

Art: 8/10
It does its job. It is not beautiful, certainly, but the fights are pleasant to watch and the animation in general is well done
The chara-design is relatively original. It keeps several clichés about fantastic creatures but manages to transform them and thus creates endearing characters
My only regret will be the use of the CGI several times, especially during the Charybdis arc. I'm still very sensitive to the CGI in anime and I admit to tolerate it badly, but during the aerial combat it is used to excess, especially on megalodons. I think it doesn't really stick with the whole atmosphere of the show

Sound : 7/10
The dubbing of the characters is well done and nice, I find that the voices stick to them rather well
Similarly, the various sound effects are well made (including the EXPLOSIOOONS) and we immerse a little more in the world of Tensei Slime thanks to them
However there is a very small flat that I may be the only one to have noticed: I did not find the OST very significant. It's just ... good. It does not bother me but I am very sensitive to music and I attach great importance to it, and at no point in the series did I say to myself at once: "wow, this piece of music is really great "

Characters: 9/10
One of the best point of the anime in my opinion
Already there's something that surprised me: the goodness of the characters. There are not many who are really bad or keep doing bad things. We have rather a big cast of fundamentally nice characters, then are added characters initially presented as villains / semi villains who then show redemption (but it's well done, not like the cheap villains in Fairy Tail), and finally we sprinkle all of a few "bad guys" who remain, there are a few and have not (yet) been really shown on screen
Rimuru is a very nice MC, because it is clear that he thinks a lot and makes logical decisions unlike many other MC (isn't it Kirito?). It is a pleasure to see a character making decisions that we would have made as well because they were logical and reasonable
The other characters are also very endearing because they are kind and loyal to Rimuru (I have always feared that there will be revolts, treachery or dissension but it never happened, so much the better!), My favorites being Ranga and Gobuta
I also like the fact that powerful people, be they sovereigns or demon kings, decide quite naturally to join Rimuru and to become friends with him, whereas in most other animes, their pride or their ego would have prevented them from doing it.
My only regret for the characters is that we didn't really see Veldra, who failed to break the seal during the first season. I really liked this character even though we saw him for a short time. Having a tsundere dragon becoming the best friend of a slime (or even a family member since they have the same name) and being extremely happy with it is adorable, and I'm really looking forward to see him in the second season

Enjoyment : 9/10
Surprisingly, this was not an anime that I looked forward to every week, but I had a good time watching each new episode (it's a little like my carrot for Monday, which pushes me to consider the day in a better way even if it's the worst of the week haha)
You can watch it without having to think a lot, it is full of good feelings without ever being cutesy, with also action and interesting intrigues. I also like the humor of the series, it's very present but it never falls into ridicule!

Overall : 8.20 / 10
The big isekai of the Autumn 2018 season will not have disappointed me and will have finally entertained me
I'm looking forward to watch the second season next year, hoping it will be as good as this one!

Histoire : 8/10

L'histoire est donc assez différente d'un SAO (je vais souvent mentionner SAO dans cette critique, autant vous y habituer) mais reste dans les limites du cahier des charges d'un isekai traditionnel

Elle fait son travail. Elle n'est pas magnifique, certes, mais les combats sont plaisants à regarder et l'animation en générale est bien faite
Le chara-design est relativement original. Il reprend plusieurs clichés concernant les créatures fantastiques mais arrive à bien se les approprier et créé ainsi des personnages attachants
Mon seul regret sera l'emploi du CGI à plusieurs reprises, et plus particulièrement lors de l'arc Charybdis. Je suis toujours très sensible au CGI dans les animes et j'avoue le tolérer assez mal, or lors du combat aérien il est utilisé à outrance, notamment sur les mégalodons. Je trouve que ça casse un peu l'ambiance

Son : 7/10
Le doublage des personnages est bien fait et agréable, je trouve que les voix leur collent plutôt bien
De même, les différents bruitages sont bien réalisés (notamment les EXPLOSIOOONS) et nous immergent un peu plus dans l'univers de Tensei Slime
Tout petit bémol que je suis peut être le seul à remarquer : je n'ai pas trouvé l'OST très marquante. Elle est juste...bien. Ca ne me dérange pas mais je suis très sensible à la musique et j'y attache beaucoup d'importance, et à aucun moment dans la série je me suis dit d'un seul coup : "wow, ce morceau de musique est vraiment génial"

Personnages : 9/10
L'un des points forts de la série selon moi
Déjà un côté qui m'a surpris : la bonté des personnages. Rares sont ceux qui sont vraiment mauvais ou qui multiplient les coups en douce. On a plutôt un gros casting de personnages foncièrement gentils, puis viennent s'ajouter des personnages d'abord présentés comme méchants/semi méchants puis qui font preuve de rédemption, et enfin on saupoudre le tout de quelques rares "méchants" qui le restent, mais il y en a peu et ne se sont pas (encore) vraiment montrés à l'écran
Rimuru est un MC très agréable, car on voit bien qu'il réfléchit beaucoup et prend des décisions logiques contrairement à beaucoup d'autres MC (n'est-ce pas Kirito ?). Cela fait honnêtement plaisir de voir un personnage prendre des décisions que nous spectateurs aurions également prises car elles étaient logiques et raisonnables
Les autres personnages sont eux aussi très attachants car gentils et loyaux envers Rimuru (j'ai toujours craint qu'il y ait des révoltes, traitrises ou dissensions mais ça n'est jamais arrivé, tant mieux !), mes préférés étant Ranga et Gobuta
J'aime aussi le fait que des personnes puissantes, que ce soient des souverains ou des rois démons, décident tout naturellement de s'allier à Rimuru et de s'en faire un ami, alors que dans la plupart des autres animes, leur orgueil et leur égo les en auraient empêchés.
Mon seul regret au niveau des personnages reste qu'on a pas pu vraiment revoir Veldra, qui n'a pas réussi à briser le sceau pendant la première saison. J'ai beaucoup aimé ce personnage même si on l'a vu peu de temps. Le fait d'avoir un dragon tsundere devenir le meilleur ami d'un slime (voire un membre de la famille vu qu'ils ont le même nom) et qu'il en soit extrêmement content est adorable, et je suis vraiment impatient de le revoir dans la deuxième saison

Appréciation : 9/10
Etonnamment, ce n'est pas un anime que j'attends avec impatience chaque semaine, mais je passe un agréable moment à regarder chaque nouvel épisode (c'est un peu ma carotte du lundi, qui me pousse à bien considérer la journée même si c'est la pire de la semaine haha)
On le regarde sans se prendre la tête, c'est rempli de bons sentiments sans jamais être mièvre, avec également de l'action et des intrigues intéressantes. J'aime aussi beaucoup l'humour de la série, très présent mais qui ne tombe jamais dans le ridicule !

Le gros isekai de la saison Automne 2018 ne m'aura pas décu et m'aura au final bien diverti
J'ai plutôt hâte de regarder la seconde saison l'année prochaine, en espérant qu'elle soit aussi bonne que celle-ci !

Story:
Nothing really ground breaking or complex. The story goes generic otaku male gets killed in world X and ends up in world Y. Then he just proceeds to make life better for its people in his own fashion.

Art:
Generic late 2010's art style with thin outline and vibrant colors

Sound:
VA's are on point, the sound effects are average at best. While the music (besides the END) is very generic and unmemorable.


... Character:
This MC is the Exact opposite of Ainz Ooal Gown. and while still being powerful, Unlike AInz he has no skill, training, or mastery of what he can do so he gets beaten when he doesn't use his ability to just eat everything.

Enjoyment:
This anime is the like a lighter version of Gate (or a mature version of Pokemon). Lots of Cute moments, some sexy moments and a decent amount of fighting.

Overall:
This anime isn't some great and new but it has just enough in the right areas to make it a fun watch.

Story: 9/10
Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken (or Tensura for short) is a fantasy setting anime that manages to separate itself from any other generic fantasy shows that the anime industry has. The story follows a 37 years old virgin that died defending his co-worker from a (potentially) jealous assailant. Then he got reincarnated, but rather than being reincarnated as a human, he got reincarnated as a Slime. The part that really separates itself from any other generic Isekai (another world) ... genre shows is that the protagonist isn't a teenager, but a fully grown adult man which defines how he acts and reacts compared to things around him. I wouldn't continue this part as it will get into some spoiler stuffs. The story never takes itself too seriously, putting gags here and there but never takes the jokes too far either.

Art: 9/10
The art and animation of Tensura is just... amazing and jaw dropping even. The vibrant colors, the smooth animation, everything just clicks. I can really tell that this show is made with love and care from it's creators.

Sound: 9/10
The sound design is amazing, the Slime sound effects, etc etc. I don't really have much to say since I'm not really a master when it comes to sound design.
The Opening and Ending song however, is just fantastic. Especially with the Ending, rather than making you rest after the episode to the point where you are just bored with the Ending song, it makes you hyped for what it has to offer next, which is rare considering that this is an Anime Ending.

Character: 9/10
As I said before, the fact that our main character Rimuru is previously a full grown adult man really changes the story. And the people (most of them are monsters but don't worry about it) really feels like actual people (except for some that is) while making us not forget that this show is goofy and cartoonish, which is impressive considering that many anime takes itself too seriously to the point where we just can't enjoy the show anymore.

Enjoyment: 10/10
The fact that not only the show perfectly adapts the source material to another medium, but also improves it, really makes me love this show. I had high hopes when it was announced and my hopes were answered, I got more than I wished for.

Tensura is a comedic and cartoonish Isekai fantasy show that manages to put a spin to the genre by being really good and enjoyable.

Long time since I write a review. To put it as simple as possible, this is the best anime in its genre I have seen in a long time.

Very refreshing after 3 seasons of Overlord for instance. Whereas Overlord is riddled with evil characters doing evil things and you are directed to see them as the main characters, in TenSure you have a really powerful reincarnated character, using his powers to do Good and not Evil, as in Overlord.

The characters are lovable so far, and well written to boot. The plot seems solid and progressing strongly, and I really look forward to every episode, and ... gladly we know it will have 24 eps, so they will have time to develop the story (or not...who knows) and we can have more of its weekly enjoyment.

Art is not overwhelming but the story does cover for it completely.

Now I will see its manga for sure

All in all a really nice series !

This anime is one of the those animes that features an overpowered main character showing off his overpowered skills to those around him. Watch this anime if you want to sit still in awe on your chair because of how intensely overpowered the main character is in this show.

I've read a few comments that said this show was boring. I think someone who has watched too much action anime recently and is looking for something that is more different from all the other animes that features OP MCs might say it's boring. Not only that, but it sort of gives the feeling of being inside ... a RPG game which many other anime produced nowadays also gave off. Yup, it's an isekai anime with an overpowered MC - we actually see that very often nowadays.

But these are the points that I want to commend the anime of:
- the pacing is just right. The art doesn't falter throughout the episodes so far. Nothing feels sped up. Everything is smooth. What more can you ask for for a high-quality animation? It's worthy of getting 24 episodes.
- the anime has rendered the manga very well. A good anime producer will make a product more entertaining and worth spending time for than the actual manga. I haven't read the manga, but I just seem to end up thinking that the anime has made the story more entertaining by the qualities which mangas can't have: moving images, sounds, and speaking characters.

Whether it's entertaining or not is relative. But if you are not one of the people who might think it's boring according to what i've said before in this review, maybe you'll be entertained.

You have to want to watch action to enjoy this anime. If action to you right now sounds like meaningless movements back and forth then don't watch this. There are indeed episodes that don't feature action so don't get me wrong - it's not only about fighting, it's about how far the MC's influence in this isekai spreads (to me at the moment that is in episode 9). You end up wondering how far the MC will go in this isekai world with his powers - as a slime of course!

Story: 10/10, Art: 10/10, Sound: 10/10, Character: 10/10, Enjoyment: 10/10,

It has been great for now, no stupid harem, no over-convoluted plot, just a guy reborn as a slime and now exploring the new world.

The character is likable, the story is doesn't take itself seriously and Rimuru is super fun as a main character, very funny and innocence. I really like that he didn't immediately find a human as a first friend when he was being reborn as a slime, because that wouldn't make sense.

What I don't like is the ost, or lack of ost, some of the scene barely has any background sound or music which will make it feel a bit bland.

Overall ... it is a very relaxed and chill story. Lets hope it won't change for the worst, best anime this fall. Welp, there is Seishun Buta Yarou wa Bunny Girl Senpai no Yume wo Minai and new Jojo. Other than that this is the best.

As of writing this review only 6 episodes of Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken are out and this review will most likely change later on.
Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken was a fun little thing one of my friends introduced to me. Though carrying a lot of the isekai-cliches it manages to create an original story which kind of resemble Overlord in the aspects of interacting with the world, learning, and creating and strengthening your society.
Story: The story goes about it mostly like other isekai shows, with the hero/heroine waking up in an unfamiliar world, EXCEPT, he's a slime. He has some basic, but powerful ... abilities and a steap learning curve. The story moves slow, making 1 episode only contain a little, but at the same time makes everything light hearted and fun.
Pace: Since the pacing as of yet is so slow (I kind of like it) I am putting this as the biggest potential downfall of the story since, really, at 1/4 of the expected airing it still hasn't really gotten far. I'm afraid the this promising show might screw up the pacing, going too slow in the beginning, and then rushing to the end.
The soundtracks are excellent and I didn't find the opening and ending songs annoying, like I find most.
There isn't that much development of the characters as of yet, as it has only just begun, but what's there is pretty solid.
Summary: It's good story with a good beginning for its characters, which moves slow. I hope they get the pacing down right and think that, if the pacing ends up too slow in the beginning, that they make it longer, either through more episodes in the current season, or by making more seasons. I think extending the show would be of much more benefit for both the producers, the show and the people watching it, as I can see it becoming a popular anime.

Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken is as flawless as an anime can be.

The isekai genre has been overpopulated in the past few years but in certain cases an Isekai can be gold and that's the case with this anime.

I like this show because it's story is simple but well thought, it's art is not the most beautiful but it fits with the story, it's music is good and fits well in the moments it plays and it's characters are amazingly well developed.

The things that i like the most about this series is the great animation along with the ounstanding enjoyment that it gives me but ... more imoortantly is that this is greater than the sum of it's parts.


AOTS FALL 2018.

I watch a lot of Isekai anime,

most of them are pretty entertaining and all, but not every aspect of an anime I watched took the cake as I stumbled apon THIS little treasure as a manga.

The moment I learned, that it was airing in the Autumn Season, I couldn't wait for it to air.

I love the artstyle of ALL characters, even if I wished, that Shion was still her old self (I mean, BOI she HOT) and also the story is 1 to 1 taken over, which ALWAYS IS a big (+) in my books. So far, even the opening "Namless Story" catches you and ... takes you right into the journey of Rimuru.

And also Tate no Yusha. THESE both Anime actually are not just RUNNING the Isekai stories, they'll be called its flagship.

I mean "Yeah, we had SoA (kinda sad I mentioned it) and Lost Horizon. But Tensei shitara Slime Datte Ken actually adds so many more things, as all the pretty mediocre stories we seen so far.
It has politics, alliances, the utopia it is creating, while also holds you on to your seat, while it catches you and is kidnapping you in to the this well crafted world of an isekai anime.

The story is funny, kinda sad, dramatic, while also it has this "overpowered" character, who is actually not really overconfident in his unique skills, also somehow manages to be adorable and incredible good. Rimuru remains alsways be as "calm" and "collected", while even can be sometimes pissed at something.

This is a really good Isekai Story, very well crafted. And EVERYTHING fits so well. EVERYTHING. And I mean EVERYTHING.

TL;DR Review

I hated the first episode of this anime, it was cringy, annoying, and the way he died was lame (and his last line too, "wipe out everything from my HHD," what is this? 2003?). However, I grew to love this anime, and I wish there was more. My love for this anime grew exponentially, in fact. After powering through the first episode, I came to love all the characters (goblins, direwolf, etc) and Rimuru, of course. This is like One Punch Man, the main character is very OP, however, the anime contains it very nicely (not like SAO). I consider myself a pretty hard ... anime rater, so giving this an 8 is surprising. However, there always is some way to improve. Some of the jokes are lame and one specific character was definitely not in the anime long enough. You'll know which one if you watch this. So overall, I would say this is nice, just power through the first episode and I bet you'll grow to love this anime.

I had to write this as I felt there were other people on the internet who disagreed with my opinion that this is one of the greatest animes of all time. I would put it next to LoGH, 90's Berserk and Overlord for greatest anime adaptions of all time.

Story:
They didn't write it, they are adopting it and I absolutely adore it. Its innocence and complexity both go hand in hand so well. They could have turned it into harem trash early on and wasted everything but they didn't. You know it's a story about a MC who is actually trying to be a protagonist ... and he does a really good job at being a decent human being (that was irony). It's not a grimdark presentation or anything, but they do tackle hard truths and go over tough topics in a way that makes you feel bad and then gives you warm fuzzies. The writing is that amazing. I should give this a higher grade than 10 for writing because my god is it amazing.

Art:
Usually pretty good, but there are some sloppy, choppy battle scenes with less than perfect art. Everything else still looks really good.

Sound:
It sounds amazing in general, with the battle sounds having actual impact and the clanging sounding like the real deal instead of two two hollow poles being slammed against each other [insert new Berserk reference here]. What I really want to address is their selection of voice actors for the Japanese version and how perfectly they fit into their roles. The MC is a perfect example of a lower/middle management desk worker who is uncomfortable with his job. It's almost getting comical now that his voice hasn't changed despite his obvious confidence in himself as the ruler of a kingdom. The rest of the actors/actresses are appropriately cast as well and they did a great job in general.

Character:
It's why I'm watching the show. Go back to story, because it's a character story to understand why I love the MC so much. They nailed it on the head. The characters are understandable, grounded and realistic -- for a fantasy world involving dragons. The intrigue with them is never too deep, but the context around them is enough to give everyone at least a 2 or 3 dimensional character. Out of the dozens (literally) of characters introduced, no one has been the "I'm bad because I'm bad" character or the "I'm super righteous because I'm good" guy. We have back stories for every single minor character.

Enjoyment:
Read above. It's brilliant.

... ⬤ Rimuru is a straight loli who only turns into a slime when the animator grows tired... The 37 yo dude is just gone!
⬤ I kept hearing "Rimuru-sama! Rimuru-sama!" once every 2 seconds, is something wrong with me ? Shounen much ?
⬤ Worldbuilding was traded off with episodic and dull slice of life
⬤ The infamous fast pacing
⬤ Drop in animation quality
⬤ Hearing nothing but Rimuru's monotonous inner thoughts for many many episodes... I hope the VA is getting a decent share for that
⬤ Entire show was parade of new characters. Entire season 1 is actually a setup for Reincaranted as a Slime universe. But it doesnt change the fact that I had to go through it.

Rewatchability...
If it comes to that, first part gets a giant 9/10 from me. Second half barely makes a 6/10..
If you are anime watcher only, then dont be...
The reason I watched slime was the source material. I am trully in love with manga and LN, anime did ok job, but could have been better. My final score is a satisfying [[8/10]] ! Well done 8 bit studios!

In future, I truly want to give season 2 a 10/10 because the source material has a shot at it, looking forward to it.

I think that watching this anime is worthwhile since the storyline is exciting and enjoyable to watch. In the beginning, it is a little slow for about 3-5 episodes then the story starts to pick up. You get to see character development as well as power-ups in power and abilities. Maybe for some, it may not be their type of anime to watch, but I liked it. A few scenes were hilarious to watch and I did like many of the characters. In addition, the animation of the fights between the characters are high-quality and look well done.


A few flaws within the show is ... the fact that the storyline can tend to go by pretty quick, but that is understanding considering the show is only 24 eps. If given the time, I probably would rewatch it especially if another season is released. I feel the story gets more interesting as the show progresses as well.

I have to say at first that this anime is a gem 10/10 anime. It truly is an unique masterpiece and i love the characters and everything about this anime, it truly builds up to be better and better and. This really is just an anime that you need to watch and experience for yourself, i dont want to spoil anything about it because everyone deserves to experience is as it is

Once there was a slime called Rimaru he had the power to consume anything and use the ablities of the creatures and things he consumed, along the journey Rimaru learned more and more skills ... and grew stronger, along his journey Rimaru met many new friends.

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, This one of my favourite anime's of all time, and you should watch it right now!!!

Story 8/10: The plot, Satoru Mikami is reincarnated into another world as a Slime And rebuilds a monster town which turns into a country in the end.

Art 7/10: Nice to look at.

Sound 7/10: I don't watch the opening or ending themes (of any anime).

Character 8/10: I like all the characters, they are just great characters!

Overall between 9/10 and 10/10: Its a anime worth watching!

This is one of the few anime where I couldn't wait for the anime to catch up and started to read the manga! It's not your typical isekai anime, it's a lot more political and subdued in terms of plot, but I appreciate that. It's a nice anime to chill to. I love the relatively organic world building, too! It's got great pacing and some top end comedy in quite a few episodes! I'm stuck waiting on the manga to update now, but I'm in the camp of 'it's worth it' and I'll still be watching season 2 when it eventually comes out!

I'd fist like to say; I'm not very experienced in anime. I've seen like maybe 8 animes. But this anime is just something else. I've pretty much never seen an anime more unique than this one. A lot of people found this anime disappointing. But I just can't really understand why.

When was the last time you saw a guy get stabbed at a street, to then be reincarnated as a slime in another world, to then eat a legendary tsundere dragon trapped in a cave for 300 years and then go on to start a civilisation consisting of goblins, wolves, and other stuff?

You see ... where I'm getting at? It's just generally fun and entertaining to watch. And I have actually never been more hyped for a second upcoming season in an anime than this one. The soundtrack is good, and I especially like the intros and outros. the second intro has some great visuals as well. The anime looks good, sounds good and just generally feels good.

I have heard people complaining about the voice actors, and I say; What on earth do you mean? there is literally nothing wrong with the voice acting. I have seen a few reviews on yt saying that this is "Isekai done right". I would like to agree with them, but I'm not really the right person to do so. I have only seen the first episodes of a few isekais, so I shouldn't really hop on that train without knowing it's true. All I can say is that the first episodes really dragged you in a lot better.

You might think I have bad taste or something, but I wouldn't say I do. Steins:Gate is my #1 anime and I do like what other people like. But this, is just different. I see a lot of negative reviews on this, but you can't ignore the fact that the anime itself has over an 8. If you haven't seen this anime yet, I recommend you do. This anime really makes you want to keep going, and it doesn't stop doing it (in my opinion, that is).

Rimuru is maybe my favourite anime protagonist ever. So they really nailed the protagonist and characters as well. All the characters are really likeable in their own ways, and none of them are boring in any way in my opinion.

This anime is a solid 9/10 for me. Right now when I'm writing this it has to be my second favourite anime.

For 24 episodes, this flowed very nicely. I didn't get bored at any one time and I could drop the series off for a little bit and pick it right up and not feel like I missed anything or run into a continuity issue that required me to go back and re-educate myself on.

At the beginning, I knew that I was going to enjoy at least the MC from a voice perspective. Brittany Karbowski is my favorite VA and really impressed me with Rimiru. While it was kind of light in tone throughout the whole show for Rimiru, her presentation to each situation matched perfectly. ... I think what impressed me most about this within regards to the lack of range in emotion is the sheer volume of dialogue she had to go through. I think it could be safe to say that she had about half of all dialogue. I couldn't imagine just how exhaustive that would have to be.

In regards to the show and the storyline, I enjoyed how each situation was handled, however I think they were too many conflicts. Most were brought up and resolved in two episodes and all of the decisions to major problems were done on the fly, like with the Cryptid and the summoned children. It just happened all at once and been and BAM, they were resolved. It was extremely frustrating to watch. I really would have preferred if they cut back on one or two confrontation(s) versus having six or seven. Give me a longer, drawn out interaction, perhaps in three episodes instead of two like is seen in a lot of other shows. I would also like to have seen ownership by the characters rather than an easy solution, like when Milim took down the Cryptid. One large shot and it was over with.

Despite its shortcomings, it's well worth watching to enjoy. I know that there are spin-off episodes that I caught two of and a movie and five OVAs. I can't say that I liked the show enough to chase all of that down, though.

Certainly worth a recommend.

The story of the anime does not define a complex situation. Its hero, despite being very powerful, adds to this power by taking on the characteristics and powers of his enemies (and sometimes his friends) because he has a human face. He is not a lone hero or a creature with a complex past, but merely a good being, and he invites those around him well. Because of this goodness and desire to do good deeds, he can gather new friends around himself and build a community.

Of course, the story is a happy story and not everything is good. Building a community is the theme of its story. Like any story with this theme, there are problems in Remorro's way, the biggest of which is his new neighbors. From other monsters to various races, most of whom unite with Raymore's good intentions. Few remain irrational in their hostility and often face the great power of Remorو.

Anime does not say complicated things. The whole story says, "Be good and do what you can today." And this is one of the reasons for the success of the anime because it says this simple word very easily.

Along with the happy story, the other elements of the anime are also important. The design and colors of the anime are excellent and eye-catching. This focus and excellent quality show the hard work and enthusiasm of its construction team. The anime was able to add to the happy atmosphere of the Slime anime by doing things like showing the question mark to the jelly on Rimoro's head. There are also other character designs. Another example of the character of the old village goblin, who suddenly becomes a strong man by joining Remoro and receiving his name, is one of the interesting moments of the anime.

Another point is the voice acting of the characters. The design and sound of the characters completely make their personality and help to attract the audience in the anime space.

The success of the anime Slime was due to the efforts of the collection of anime writers, designers and sound engineers. Even the music was fascinating. All of these factors go hand in hand in the end to impress the audience with this anime.
