The series that is about to be reviewed today is what I like to refer to as a: 'Nothing Hentai". This hentai literally does nothing new, it is your classic train rape hentai. And you know what that would be fine but the problem is, the stuff it does is not even good in the grand scheme of these generic NTR hentais. I will elaborate on this more further down in the review. There is an alternative version to this, referred to as: "Ikenai Koto The Animation", which while not more original is at-least more enjoyable in nature. But we will cover that another day.
...
For now we will be covering, none other then: "Misuzu: Ikenai Koto", let's not waste any-time and just get into it.
Story: 3/10.
When first watching this hentai I thought it would have potential for more, sadly I give hentais too much credit sometimes. Ikenai Koto starts off with the main female lead, Misuzu, asking her boyfriend if they could go out and eat. Things happen and they end up on the train where his boyfriend start groping her. The train stops suddenly making Misuzu separated from her boyfriend and in the hands of another man. And this is the point in the story where I give up this being a deconstruction on the NTR genre and start shaking my head. There were so many ways they could have went with this train mix up, but they just say fuck it and make it NTR. At this point I can't say anything else about the story, THAT IS LEGIT ALL IT IS. It's a 14 minute hentai for a reason I guess, but c'mon...
Art and Animation: 5/10.
The art style is decent. I for one think that the outlines are way to fucking big and it kind of makes everything feel unnatural. The color choice is not that superb either. It feels very monotone and that can really put me off when watching. The animation is... well it is infact worse than the art. The animation utilizes CGI for movement, and look while I do not like hentai with CGI animation I will admit there are some examples of good hybrid types (that use 2d models with CGI), however this is not one of them. The animation is very slow and once again feels unnatural. Finally the composition/choreography. Now you might be saying, since everything else in this section has been bad, this has to be one of the good things right? WRONG. While the choreography is not as bad as something like Yayoi-san, it is lacking a lot when comes to creative and attractive shots.
Sound: 8/10.
It is what it is. VA does a decent enough job and BG music is good while lacking in flare.
Character: 4/10.
The reason why I rated Misuzu so low as a character is primarily because this is a NTR. The genre of NTR is flawed when it comes to this section, because most of them just show 2-3 minutes of actual character and the rest is just rape. Like that is not enough for me to say if I like this character. Most NTRs understand now that they need to provide more to there characters then just one shmex scene and 3 minutes of character (Ex. Saimin Seishidou), sadly Misuzu: Ikenai Koto does not do this and leaves me with nothing but the pain of seeing ANOTHER FUCKING POINTLESS TRAIN SCENE.
Enjoyment: 2/10.
If you have been reading this review then this should not be that big of a surprise. Look contextually the entire hentai is fucking mess, but stylistically it is too.
Overall: 5/10.
If you love the rape genre maybe... just maybe you will find something in this hentai, if not... please don't watch it. I understand that most people don't watch hentai to analyze like I do for the story or characters. But even ignoring that fact, the hentai is average at best in the art and animation category.
