I watched all of these anime during Winter 2022

Top Anime (in my opinion)

New in Winter 2022: Hakozume Kouban Joshi no Gyakushuu, the story is about a police officer, interesting because it relates to real life, J-Drama aired first.

Completed Series: Kotarou wa hitorigurashi, really a hidden gem, underrated or rarely discussed, the plot is light but the story is sad and makes you feel emotional even though it's not romance according to the title, the story is about a kindergarten child who lives alone, fortunately there are still good people around MC, J-Drama aired before the anime. Actually, this anime only aired in March but because it was released on Netflix it was immediately complete

Movie: Jujutsu Kaisen 0, prequel, the MC is different from the main story, but the story is really good, the soundtrack, especially the animation, doesn't need to be explained

Sequel: Kimetsu no Yaiba Yuukaku Hen, Demon vs Demon Slayer

Notes: I have definitely watched/read the anime/manga that I give a rating
I will not give a rating below 5, Rating 5 for me = 1, >8 = recommended
if it's not good for me, the status "Dropped" and no rating

Both the source material - manga - and the anime adaptation are done. If there is something to note, it will be written in the respective area.
"-" are informations
"+" are other adaptations such as sequels, etc.

If I am wrong about anything, please DM me, so I can correct it.

Modern anime tends to get the understandable reputation that it sucks, thanks to being filled with lowest common denominator isekai and shounen slop, so instead of focusing on that, I'll be celebrating the best anime to have come out since 2007. The following may share any of the following categories:

- Well written plots and characters
- Thought provoking themes
- Mature tone
- Good sound design
- Actually good animation, not just flashy colors over bad storyboarding ala MAPPA
- Unconventional storytelling and visuals

I also tried to avoid including sequels without their predecessors, so something like the Haruhi movie wouldn't count as its series predates the set date.

"Seinen" refers to the demographic of adult men. So how can seinen be for women? Sometimes, a seinen series draws in a female audience regardless of the target demographic; sometimes, a seinen just feels like it was supposed to be a shoujo or josei. This stack (subjectively) collects such series. (Always a WIP)

These masterpieces mix jazz music with anime, creating stories that feel cool and fresh. It's about musicians, thieves, travellers, high-schooler, animals and jazz-filled adventures, all in awesome animation. Perfect for anyone who likes their tales with a beat.

The most beloved characters that Kenjirou Tsuda voices. This list is in order of the characters with the most favorites to those with the least.

*This is not all of the anime Tsuda was a voice actor for.
- Anime in the ecchi genre has been removed.
- Anime with less than a 7.0 ranking is removed.
- Anime with less than 50k members is removed.
- One title is included for each series. (Multiple MHA & AOT added due to Tsuda's character not being in every season.)
- Anime such as Naruto & Tokyo Ghoul is not included due to Tsuda's character not having a "big part".

I watch about 60-70% of my anime in dub, so you can trust me when I say These are some of the best of the best when it comes to English anime voice acting.

I won't add ones from stuff that I haven't seen, but I will make an exception for cowboy bebop and Baccano! purely because their dubs have been acclaimed as to of the best across the entire anime community.

Also, Subscribe to APolygons2 on youtube. Why? Well there isn't really a good reason, but it would be a lot cooler if you did!

These anime make you wonder, whether they-

> build their foundation upon utopic conviction or modern philosophical ideals
> discover curious, innate, or vast topics not normally heralded in anime
> entice their viewers to ponder the meaning of life
> have a haunting (and/or beautiful) peace about them

Things to note:
> There is no specific order to these and they were all placed at random
> I'm open to recommendations through DMs or profile comments
> Common genres in this list are iyashikei, slice of life, mystery, adventure, and psychological
