I have to say that you can't write much about this ONA in a review, since every episode is only 1 min. and few seconds long.

Without much to say about the story and art...etc,I could only recommend to every Akame Ga Kill anime\manga fan to watch this series,it's really funny (though I find some episodes really poor) and don't take much time, just try it out and I'm sure it isn't really a waste of time, the personalities of the characters aren't far from that of the main series so the jokes can be really funny as if you were watching the main story.

This is a chibi style series of comedy specials for Akame ga kill. The series generally follows the main story. For example, episode 14 in the main series is about esdeath and tatsumi. Episode 14 in this series is also about esdeath and tatsumi.

It does it's job sufficiently. Not hilarious, but they were amusing enough. If you liked the main series and want to see more akame ga kill, I'd recommend watching it. The last 2 episodes aren't funny, but touching. In fact, I was going to give this a 6, but the last 2 episodes bumped this to a 7.

I only have two read more

Akame ga Kill! Theater is a compilation of shorts parodying the parent series “Akame ga Kill”. As dark as the original turned out to be, many fans wished for a more lightweight comedy centered parody to light up the heart. And as bad the original turned up to be (facts) ONA had no effect on that.

- Story (6.0/10):
The story as a leading aspect here was absent, but for a good reason, and that's what parodies are all about, instead, humor and jokes make up for that. It seemed as if all the jokes throughout the entire ONA were a direct reference going in sync with read more

TLDR: If you enjoyed Akame Ga Kill! watching this will give you closure of the ending and good feel vibes you'll need.

I write this after binging the entire Akame Ga Kill! and Akame Ga Kill! Theater and for the first 22 mini-episodes they are enjoyable, it adds an extra layer of comedy and unseriousness since it wasn't in the original show. Now having said that while watching I didn't expect much to come from it since they are kinda like mini skits, but what really makes this outstanding in my eyes is the last two episodes in which they can give a sort of closure read more
