Depicts the relationship between a commoner main character and a bunch of ojou-sama with a good dose of ecchi and romcom situations.

Light-hearted romantic comedies involving the rich and a "commoner" in a semi-harem based school setting. While some jokes are shared/similar, each has their own separate characters and story. What separate's these anime's the most (thus far: Shomin Sample still airing) is being that Shomin Sample also contains some ecchi scenes.

- Both have likeable MC who aren't complete betas - Both are harems where the MC is surround by girls - Both have a school setting where the MC is the only male - Both have a enjoyable comedy that feels natural and not forced

Both series revolve around main male character, and their interactions with other girls that go to his school and such. Both series also feature many girls, all of which have some cute quirk to go with them, making all such cute and lovable characters. While Shomin's girls' quirks are used in result of not knowing what males are this entire time in life, Chuunibyou's girls are very used to boys, and get their quirk by their 8th grade syndrome, which tends to be embarrassing and very funny to the audience. I feel like both series are great and cute harem-like shows???, and I enjoyed both  read more

MC is the only male in a school club full of women who all hold affections for him. Hijinks ensue.

Stereotypical harem anime. Virtually equal plot with male MC moving into a new place filled with girls that bring forward various emotions towards him. Nothing out of the ordinary and they both follow what is their daily lives together. Somewhat similar to s.o.l but it is in harem format, with cliches that never seem to disappear. Would advise you to just pick a girl and aimlessly root for them. Don't get hopes up for anything crazy too. For any kuudere lovers, yes, both have them, but not exactly used well.

both have male mc that are forcible take to another secret school/ isekai to a high medieval world and end up at a school. both have many high born girls chasing after them both MC have culture shock for being transported to another world although Shimon sample more figuratively difference War on Geminar is an isekai with an extremely overpowered MC, has a lot more drama including a war arc it has a tame ecchi Shimon sample the MC his pick to introduce shelter high born girls to commoners and males as the entire student body along with staff are female the MC was pick  read more

Shomin Sample focus on a commoner in an elite school just like Princess Lover. The difference is in Shomin Sample the MC is still a commoner while in Princess Lover the commoner became an elite. Both MC still have to adapt to their new environment while their classmates/friends are interested in their life before. Both are harem love comedy with a hint of ecchi.

Kinda similar humor and both are good series so if you need to laugh hard you should take either one ;)

It is very easy to get annoyed at harem, especially something along the lines of Nisekoi and Shimon Sample. You can expect them to follow a simple mediocre plot, dumb male MC grows relationships with multiple different girls in the school he goes to. Also the odd cliches, maybe all, that won't ever leave this medium are present. In any case, a similarity between the two is some level of elite status for MCs. Raku, Chitoge, and the girls of Shimon Sample fall under this section. It is best to go into these anime with an open mind and try not to take things too seriously. It's  read more

Transfer. This migration between the opposite end of the social ladder, you'd expect for some snobbish nature to arise or plebeian mindset to cloud the atmosphere, but in reality, it's all normal life with some slightly misinformed people. Shimon Sample being this anime that brings forward Kagurazaka's newly found life with the ojou-samas of Seikain Academy, getting up to random harem nonsense. Wakaba Girl follows a group of girls doing generic s.o.l stuff. I suppose I have worded these as if they are something you can just brush off, however, each series does in fact have its selling point in one being cute for the sake  read more

-Both take place in a school setting -MC is surrounded by girls In Shomin Sample the MC is the only boy in the school but in Love Flops there are more boys besides the MC

Simple harem anime. There isn't too much to draw together with these two, but I suppose with the fluctuated style of abilities and inabilities in both, more so with the girls due to be in the harem. They also follow a simple premise in which a regular guy gets dragged into a situation he could not possibly hope to overturn, teaching these maidens about what basics they fail to understand in their path of results they wish to gain. It's funny, it's simple, it can also be looked at as a waste of time, but for these harem anime, there's honestly nothing to lose. Find your best  read more

Well off. QQ and Shomin Sample both feature girls who are better off financially than others, though receiving the chance to spend time with male protags who would be further down the ladder than they themselves are. With QQ doing this in a way that gives the intentional direction of growing relationships, Shomin shortcuts its way into a box standard harem standpoint, building relationships with a more systematic method. Both are pretty fun anime, as harem usually is, but if you want more of a pleasing story, take QQ. For ecchi, take Shomin.

Both are schoollike comedies where the MC is portrayed as an absent-minded individual having to deal with figuring out why women can be so absent-minded as well. Only difference is that one uses magic, and one pretends to be a girl to not get sent back into the regular world.

You want ecchi, pretty ojou-sama girls, maids, and a simple guy with a lots of lucky? You must try both series, contains romance, harem...maybe, and ecchi.

Both involves one guy in a school with lots of girls, except one was more of action, mystery and romance while the other was more of comedy, Both can also be classified as the purest of harem in a general sense.

Both have the same school and club setting, and both involves a 4 girls to 1 boy ration, it also features the same kind of character where, there is a loli, a tsundere, a yamato nadeshiku , a wife material and a guy who is obnoxious, however unlike InuBato where the guy is the obnoxious one, in Shomin Sample it's the girls whom were the obnoxious ones.

Main Similarities: •MC-kun has their own maid. •Both artwork are great. •Both settings are similar (Takes place in a prestigious, only girl school) •Similar genres (School, romance, harem, ecchi, etc.) •Regular length series (1 season - 12 episodes)

Both have the same pilot where it involves harem member whom were seeming naive about the guy's world that they're suppose to know and it's up to the guy to get them to adapt to their world, except in MonMusu, the harem member were compose of either liminals or monsters whom were introduce to the human society who have to learn how adapt while in Shomin Sample the harem member were girls whom were pretty much sheltered from the common world that they have no idea how society works and it is up to their school to find a way to teach them how  read more

They're both about a male student surrounded by females. In IS the MC can do something that only girl can do, so he is therefore accepted into an academy that specializes in this amazing ability. The thing is, this school has always been exclusively for girls. While IS is focused on a male MC developing his unique ability, Ore ga Ojousama focuses on the same concept, but the MC doesn't really have any special powers.

Sarcastic humor, harem, male protagonist not interested in girls (or pretend to not be). Both of these are giving you a perspective on a specific culture; in Saekano the otaku culture and in Shomin sample the commoners culture. Both shows share same kind of athmosphere

MC is forced to enroll in a school for high class females only. He acquires a harem and the school tries to protect the girls' chastity.

Both of these anime have comically long names. Story in Which I Was Kidnapped by a Young Lady's School to be a "Sample of the Common People" is an interesting tale about a boy who has been selected as a random middle class male teenager to act as an example towards a school full of rich girls. The catch is that he must pretend to be gay. My Mental Choices Are Completely Interfering With My School Romantic Comedy also a somewhat unique harem and it is about a boy who is cursed with choices between two horrible situations which pop up several times a day.  read more

Both involve guys who are taken from their homes and forced to teach people about a new lifestyle. Outbreak Company has the main character teach people in a fantasy world about the otaku culture, and shomin sample has the main character teach rich girls how commoners live.
