Both involving wars lords and action also with comedy in it. Both a MC which was wondering and trying to save his own land, and was made into a lord and magic.

In battle, victory is achieved through impervious strategies and strength in numbers. Regardless of what people may think, results are more significant than the reasons of killing.'Arslan Senki' and 'Madan no Ou to Vanadis' share a comparable characteristic in which battles were waged between different nations. 'Ashlan Senki' lean towards a more traditional approach and the main character's eyes are filled with ignorance and curiosity to explore the outside world. Religion is a factor that sets this series apart and what you believe in does not necessarily mean it is right. 'Madan no Ou to Vanadis' sets logic aside and bring supernatural abilities into the  read more

Male MC joins female MC to fight opposing forces. Lots of strong characters and special weapons. Artwork is very similar. Some fanservice. One main difference is Madan no Ou to Vanadis uses romance/harem for story.

In a both of DenYuuDen and Vanadis.. Ryner Lute = Tigrevurmund Vorn and Ferris Eris = Ellenora Viltaria (also known as Ellen). Main character (for 2 or 3 only) and Supporting characters are all both, this is a called of "Adventure anime"..

Whilst you could argue that Madan no Ou to Vanadis shares themes with many other harem shows, what it has in common with High School DxD is that they both feature a dominating female lead who has no qualms in making the main character their prisoner/servant.

Similar fantasy setting anime with even similar plot development. Even the characters are similar and also how they think from battle strategy to there morals. Both anime's are solid and progress through the story.

- Although one is fantasy and other is a fantasy/historical hybrid, both are battle harem anime. - Both have nice doses of ecchi. - Both have interesting characters who aren't dumb or one-dimensional, but actually have a personality. - Interesting strategies and tactics which are worth seeing. - Provide high level of enjoyment. If you are a fan of harem anime WITH a plot, then both Madan and Oda Nobuna are worth a try.

Smart protag fighting for his small home nation, fantasy setting (non-Isekai) with heavy use of military tactics, features political intrigue and duplicitous actions

Both animes are set in medieval Japan. The main difference from the two is that Inuyasha deals with warding off demons while searching for the Shikon Jewel while Lords Marksman & Vanadis deals with conquering and strethening your empire. What you will see in common is that the roles that the main characters Kagome/Inuyasha and Elenora/Tigre are swapped. Kagome wields a bow with superior accuracy who at first dosent want to leave her world for a dog demon named Inuyasha. Tigre on the other hand also shares this role as being a master bowman who hates the thought of leaving his country to side with  read more

They both have similar harem genre, where the MC has to get all the girls on his side to achieve a certain goal, except, T7 is more on the ecchi than MOV, while MOV was more of adventure.

Both main character is like a war hero, they defeated every opponent by displaying unique war tactics and somewhat by winning a war, it will lead to winning the heart of the girls too.

Although at the first glance those two anime does not look similar at all, watching war maidens in Mandan no Ou to Vanadis fight reminded me SAO fights... Especially when they were fighting dragons (or each other) and using all those supernatural moves ^^ Also, in each series there is an outstanding guy whom all girls around him start to like XD

Both shows involve big-breasted girls selected to possess special powers and fight in wars. They also both take place in a non-modern setting: Freezing in the future, Madan no Ou to Vanadis in the past.

Similarities: Both have the same fantasy, romance, ecchi, action, harem and adventure genre. Both involves guy meeting feisty girl kind of thing. Both involves guy getting to be feisty girl's property. Dissimilarities: One was set in some magical school, while the other is set in some distant land. The Male Character in one anime is a magic user while the Male character in the other anime is a archer. The Female character in the other anime is also a magic user while the female character in the other anime is warrior with a magical sword. Note: Just watch and compare it yourself.

Both shows tend to go quite deep in the politics and war with quite lengthy explaining of the strategy used. Main difference is that Madan no Ou to Vanadis is harem/fantasy action, while Sengoku Musou is a historical fantasy action. On the bad side - both shows have quite mediocre animation and visuals, with characters going off-model pretty often. Sengoku Musou is a little better on this direction, though (no weird dancing from the soldiers has been spotted and there's less slide-shows).

Main character uses bow and arrow Main character's allies have unique powers Both are about defeating corrupt royalty/government Both are set in medieval times Other than that they're quite different If you like one it's not likely you'll like the other This recommendation is pointless

Similar story: A fallen knight trying to take back his country/kingdom from the colonizer But he not alone to achieve this He built a powerful ally from peoples with unique ability & different motive Similar action: When come to war, you will not see Super-Human-Over-Power type MC in here But instead MC and his allies make strategy to take down the enemy The only different between both anime : - Madan no Vanadis is harem anime with alot fanservice/ecchi element - Arslan Senki is historical-type anime with no fanservice

Both Main characters are very skilled and naturally talented in their respected fields. Both series involve the main male character coming to the aid of a very high status and powerful female protagonist, not only does he protect her but over time starts to have feelings for her and vice versa. Both narrative's have amazing battle action scenes and great art work. These series also have Adventure, Ecchi, Fantasy, Romance, Harem genre components.

FSN is for sure one of the best ever, is very difficult to match, when I saw FSN for sure got a special and very uncommon atmosphere, after long time without get that special feeling I foun MADAN NO OU TO VANADIS. In both warriors with special power fight each others, that chivalric atmosphere, involving honor, loyalty, the bounds the characters develop each others, the sense of duty and to protect the people in Madan no ou to Vanadis is wonderful. The most make them similar are the awesome work in developing both animations, music, voice actors, art and animation is wonderful in both series, for  read more

first impression watching, it seems is the relationship between master and servant relationship at least ZNT have a main character that is similar Vanadis, took a similar genre is action, ecchi, harem, romance zero no tsuikaima The story is often a battle which uses a strategy of war and in Vanadis also have the same groove, at least two of anime has a male main character who demand a woman who is quite great post to the nature of the main character has its own character obscene small, and for Vanadis more to war
