Aldnoah.Zero

Soo, if you like mecha there are many known anime out there that you probably watched or at least heard about.

The animes i seletced here are the ones i enjoyed the most and can recommend.

Starting with 86, it has 2 seasons right now with both being pretty good.

The first season will stand out more since it has more action but both seasons are worth watching, the main characters are good and the animation and soundtrack are horny.

Gundam Ibo(Iron Blooded Orphans)

It also has 2 seasons and i cant say wich one will stand out more for you, the action is great on both, but sometimes it gets really slow and confusing, but i rally reccomend this one because is a good starting point to the people who want to get into gundam, the animation is good and the soundtrack is amazing.

Aldnoah Zero

I find this one good but for me is kinda slow to watch, if is your first time watching you might like it, but rewatching can be a pain, the animation and music are also nice on this one.

Suisei no Gargantia

The story and world building is interesting, worth watching since is a fast one, the animation is nice.

There are many other animes that are a worth watching like Code Geass, Evangelion and Gurren Lagann, those are great but i havent completed them soo i wont add them here.

Anime that, at the time of the release, was set at least a year into the future but with a date that has already come to pass.

Obviously they got no source material, so the list contains anime which aired and got no upcoming sequels or prequels.

Animes where the ending is just bad, or where the start was promising but in the end it just couldnt deliver.

Be it plotholes, poorly forced plottwists, or just missing logic or pacing in general.

Here we have the classical rushed endings, going for shock value instead of good writing and stupid tropes that got "subverted masterfully" (is what the author probably thought).

Personally I think Gundam is pinnacle of mecha anime but since a big chunk of the series
is interconnected, I only included gundam series which are watchable as a standalone

This list will contain series where the main character has A. no emotions B. hides his emotions and/or intentions or C. no response at all/mute. The theme of the list will be mixed so expect some action, comedy, romance, school and many more.
