Blade & Soul

Both adventuresome titles with strong independent lead characters. Along with amazing battles. 

Both female leads are the strong and quite type. Both also have a lot of action and dark flashbacks/back-stories in them. 

When i think about Recommendations for Blade and Soul this anime come to my mind; both have some sort of magic in it and both Protagonist has a dark past. If you liked Blade and Soul then i'm sure you will enjoy Kaze no Stigma. 

- Created by same studio - Main story is about revenge - In somepoint MC companions turn become enemy - TL;DR >>> is all about "Woman in action"  

- Main character almost dominated by woman - both movie has a focus on "women in action" 

Both have a goal to kill a strong opponent (main goal). They both have action and fighting as theme. At last they probaly face their opponent(their goal), where they have learned a lot through the actions and earned some knowledge, that they have done through the story. (sry for bad english) 

Both are fantasy anime about a group of big-breasted world that fights enemies. Both have fanservice, but Momo Kyun Sword has more frequent one. Hazuki and Momoko have somehow similar character. Both anime are setted in past. 

Both anime are episodic dark stories about girls who want revenge and focuses on how humans can react in situations of crisis, greed, power, justice, etc. Differences: Blade & Soul is fantasy and action, Jigoku Shoujo is psychological and horror 

Similarities: - Both come from Video games story. - Both relate to Martial Arts and some Supernatural theme involve. - Both have to do with fighting some kind of war. - Both relate to some type of Government Experiment/Conspiracy. - Both Main characters have a strong beliefs for what they serve and are willing to protect themselves and what they stand for at all cost. - Lots of drama and bloody battle scenes. - Differences: - Blade and Soul is fiction while Hakuouki relates to historical facts, while adding some supernatural story into it.  

The more important characters in the cast are females who have very strong personalities and can fight and protect themselves very well. Both of them take place in eras similar to the dark ages or the middle ages. 

- Make by same studio (Gonzo Studio) - Main story about "revenge" (Afro revenge for his father, Aruka revenge for her sensei) - Both MC also Wanted peoples 

Both have the same girls who can kick butt and are into armed combat with swords and knives.  

Based off a popular game. Both using PC too. One series uses a variety of bombs + strategy. The other is more action, close combat based. Btooom's main cast are sent to a deserted island where they must play the game in real life. Those who survive can leave. Blade and Soul takes place within the MMORPG world. While in Btooom, they are living it.  

Games that people can play. The virtual world and the real world are mixing together. The technology of the neuro linker allows people to play an online game- Brain Burst. Which takes place in a virtual realty. Here they compete with one another.  

Based on an MMORPG. SAO uses Nerve Gear VR technology. While Blade and Soul is for the PC. One series deals with players trapped in a game. They must find a way out or risk dying in the process. The other series is based off a Korean MMORPG. More action and fanservice. SAO has swords. Blade and Soul has martial arts. While SAO has action and plot driven. But also has romance and drama between main characters and others. Both series has overpowered main character.  

Based on an game. The main character is transported into another world. He meets his companions who help him get back home. Combination of sword and magic are used here. Ixion Saga is comedy + parody driven. Both series based in a fantasy like world. One medieval and the other Asian. Early dynasty era in history.  

Based on an MMORPG. Both series are played on the PC. One series has players trapped in their PC game avatar and basically living in that world. They must solve the mystery behind the apocalypse event. While in Blade and soul tells the story of your quest for vengeance and redemption against a backdrop of Asian fantasy. Also good and evil clash in a story of betrayal, revenge, battling factions, and warring gods.  

While the story is slightly different, over all it gives pretty much same vibes. You have lots of characters who are either friends or enemies to the MC and have quiet silly personalities. Both series are based in ancient era, full of silly antics and action. The only real difference is a reverse cast. Brave 10 is male dominated, Blade & Soul is female dominated.

Based on an MMORPG. The main character in dothack is unable to logout. He meets other players who help him. At the same time you will get to know the characters and about The World of DotHack. Dothack has combination of sword, lances, and magic etc while Blade and Soul has only martial arts. One series uses a combinaiton of PC + Virtual Reality headset while the other is just PC oriented
