- Two TV Anime per letter with the exception of X and Z because you can only list up to 50 titles.

- I tried to create a variety of genres to keep it interesting

Anime that I think hit particularly hard for university students. They feature themes of coming-of-age, finding your life's purpose, and creating meaningful relationships.

Entries where the visual aspects, including directing, indicates a large part of the works' qualities. It also includes hidden symbolism within the visuals.

These are some animes that I have watched and that I liked and enjoyed. There are still plenty good animes that I haven't check out yet. Hopefully I'll do so before I die.

Before what is considered "New Gen"
Must have a big fanbase. Hence no cult classics like Death Parade or 91 Days.
I must have seen at least 10% of it.
If I feel that they impacted the industry or the audience.
Reviewing those I actually care about.
