Synopsis

In 2007, the Punishment of Sexual Perversions Law came into effect. The city is surrounded by a squadron wearing protective suits and they begin to arrest any who look like perversions. No wonder that Inukami Master Keita and Inukami Yoko are wanted for Class A perversions. What will happen to Keita, Yoko, Kaoru's Inukami, and the other lovely perversions? What about Karina?

Perverts, giant robots and elephants, oh my!

It can only be Inukami!

Those of you who are familiar with the original series will know that Inukami! never does anything in the normal manner - not even parody. As a fan of the original series I looked forward to the movie and, aside from wishing it was longer (no pun intended), I wasn't disappointed. Inukami! returns with more elephants, mor manservice, more perverts, and more action.

I won't go into the details of the story as this only runs for around 30 minutes, and I don't want to spoil any surprises. Suffice to say that fans of the show read more

After watching Inukami The Movie, I’m convinced there is no anime quite as “special” as Inukami. No other anime (at least, of the one’s I’ve watched or heard of) has ever made such prevalent use of elephants (and in such a unique way), no other anime has so much manservice instead of fanservice, and no other anime has made me laugh so hard.

Inukami! The Movie certainly does the anime series justice.

The movie opens with Karina dead, Keita missing, and a pervert extermination force roaming the city beating up and imprisoning random perverts. All hope lies in Keita, as he is the only one who can read more

This "movie" is really just an extra episode of Inukami that takes place in an unspecified period of the timeline. If this is to be considered just another episode, it would rank up there as one of, if not the best, episode in the series, in the same ballpark as the first 2 episodes. It`s just too bad that the TV series was brought down by its horrendously cheesy story and its religious adherence to harem cliche`s. Thankfully, the movie doesn`t focus much on trying to develop those characters, and opts for one of the more entertaining, but completely overlooked guys, the detective kamiya.

Just a quick sum up of what this is about

i am assuming you have watched the series so... i found it enjoyable, although there was nothing special about it. to sum up this episode is one of those that you would see inside the series as a filler. there is no actual ending or beginning, this would be just a be a quick side story to the series.
it was highly enjoyable as it portrays and builds on the "perverted" side of the series. i recommend this if you want something for a quick laugh
