New Interest Stack
Interest Stacks- Mainly serious conversations Animes set in medieval, ancient, or fantasy worlds that focus on royalty, aristocracy and internal conflicts; kidnappings, rebellions, war, politics, arranged marriages, revenge, assassination attempts, etc. So you've reached a certain age when shonen shows with never-ending fights between uni-dimensional characters who are only interested in becoming stronger bore you to tears ; when school romances look the same to you again and again with repetitive tropes and characters ; when mechas looks so much the same that you can't actually remember which show you're currently watching. You only want to watch shows with good stories, good characters, good production value and interesting topics, including some possibly disturbing ones, although you don't want cheap horror either with jumpscares and pointless suffering on-screen since there is enough misery in the world. Animax was a Spanish subscription television channel of Japanese origin, distributed by Sony Pictures Entertainment under the international Animax brand. It was launched as a channel on April 12, 2008. Shows in the Shounen/Seinen demographic with female (or n/b) lead or majority female main cast. Anime series that covers all of its original source they're based on, with some notes. Some of these you probably haven't seen in a while. Some of these were popular for a time but faded into obscurity. Some of these you probably never heard of or even forgot about. Anime where journeys become the main focus of the theme and story. Where one is able to grow and learn about themselves, the people, and the world around them. from the animelon 'about' page: A list of anime with FMCs that I enjoy watching. Originally meant only for fantasy, but as long as the list isn't filled up I'll add anime from other genres Modern anime tends to get the understandable reputation that it sucks, thanks to being filled with lowest common denominator isekai and shounen slop, so instead of focusing on that, I'll be celebrating the best anime to have come out since 2007. The following may share any of the following categories: This is a list of animes which have shotas primarily as the main male protagonist and more commonly paired with an older woman. At least one main female character is physically strong, preferably the protagonist. |
