Boku no pico deserves to be celebrated as a contemporary masterpiece of Japanese animation, rising to divinity in the world of entertainment. This work, created by Aoi Madoka, transcends expectations by combining engaging narrative, captivating characters and dazzling technical work, becoming a true "god" of the medium.

The first divine manifestation of "Boku no pico" is its rich and engaging narrative. Madoka has built a complex universe of heroes and villains, immersing viewers in a plot that skillfully balances intense action with touching emotional moments. The story's progression is like a divine ritual, keeping fans eager for each episode as events unfold in unpredictable ways.

Now hear me out this show is clearly a 10/10 masterpiece and any1 who tells you otherwise is lying.

Now lets start with the story, the most important part. Watching this is like you're riding a brand new roller coaster, but before you got on everybody put in a massive plug, and then the roller coaster got stuck midway through. Thats pretty much it. Not sure how I can better explain the experience but its def top.

Everything else is mid but still 10/10 idk wat else to tell you, all fans of classic bangers need to add this anime to their collection and be enlightened.

I think it’s rather cute in a way, but the fact it’s a little boy makes me feel a little dirty in a way. Now if we look at it from a way it not being Hentai, the artwork is astounding and really well done.

The colors are pretty and bright giving it a childish look. The characters are nicely done and their proportions aren’t all that stretched out.
I do have a small problem with the fact that Pico does not look like a ... little child much. He looks older then he should and much taller. Another little problem is that the boys look like girls a lot. Not just how they sometimes dress up as girls but even in guys clothing, they look like girls.

Voices are alright, and the sounds… sound believe able at least. I don’t want to get much into that area of the show thank you very much.

Now… going into story line… At least this one has more of a story line then most other shows and uses it instead of making it a fuck all. I keep seeing it as a coming of age story or a exploration of the body though what they do is a little more then I would actually wish for. I know kids who are like them, that want to explore their bodies and see other peoples. In fact, when I was that age, I would always want to see my mother’s body because I was interested in how it differed from my own. I feel that Pico was touched by a pedophile and that’s why he acts the way he does with the other children. He sees it as a way to make friends and not really fully about full love. Now I can’t say there is not love in it but You can figure that if he is that young, he would be curious. The same goes for the cross dressing part of it as well. Wanting to know what it would feel like to be a girl instead of a guy. But really, that’s me getting into the philosophical part of a anime made for sexual reasons. That’s what happens when you try to break down a anime and review it, even with a hentai.

Love comes in all shapes an sizes that's what I always say.
The romantic connection between a young lad and grown man was quiet moving. You don't see that alot in todays anime,manga,and graphic novels. The tragedy you saw in the mans eyes after he discovered he was a boy but yet he still loved him. The romance,the tears, and the suspense! BRAVO!

I'm up for anything and I mean anything but watching this made me afraid of the world. Remember how they said that people changed after ... watching school days? Well that happened to me with Boku no pico- and you know what's horrifying? That this actually happens in real life.Little young boys and girls fall head over heels for grown ass man who only want them for their body. This ova (whatever this was) was not love but a man taking advantage of a young boy. Pedophilia is a disgusting matter and this was disgusting anime. Note: I am a lolicon fan(aside from what I said about Pedophilia), I don't mind what you say, and If you enjoyed shotacon thats your thing though I don't think anyone but real perverts would get turn on by this.

Although I do not like Yaoi very much, I really enjoyed this one. It was not just because of sex scenes. My Pico was pretty good overall. I actually thought it had a decent plot. It has sequencial rising acition and an exciting climax. For only being one episode long, the plot wasn't that bad, especially for a hentai animè. That's not all.
Unlike most hentai, the characters in this OVA actually had quite a bit of depth. They were well introduced through their actions, body language and facial expressions. with little dialogue. The sadness on Tamotsu's face when he see's a happy ... couple displays his lonliness. The way Pico smiles at Mokkun says that he really thinks of him as a friend. The characters were one of the best things about a My Pico.
The animation was pretty good,too. It was smooth and fairly high quality.
The voice acting is done very well. The actors had good inflection and expressed emotion well. This is truly one of my favorites.

Okay the art they put into this is amazing and the sounds, voice actors always makes things so realistic. The story I found it more realistic nature side having a grandfather lets his grandson wounder about with an adult guy made me at unease. I did find it enjoying on a art scale but the reality of it, it could happen anywhere it kinda made me at ill, I know they not aiming for child porngraphy but I can't help thinking this kinda making me off watching it. This isn't a romance Ova but in my case I don't think I could watch it ... again.

This was me just before I decided to watch Boku no Pico. Like many other I've seen the 'REACTS TO BOKU NO PICO' videos or endured friends constantly recommending me to watch this 'great show', it has become the butt end of the anime community in the same ranks as 177013. So when I realized I had not actually watched it, turned off because it was constantly brought up jokingly, in lieu of my recent activity I thought it was essential to watch it so I gave Boku no Pico a shot and received it with an open mind. To my surprise, I ... completely enjoyed my experience but with an asterisk. I will delve into what made the show, in my opinion, a master work but to touch on this asterisk it was that I took it as a male to futanari show as I have never enjoyed yaoi hentai which made the show much easier to swallow. This is the main weakness of the show, since many people immediately get uncomfortable because they know SPOILERS that Pico is a boy. One of the scenes that is very famous is the ice cream car scene where many people react surprised to discover this when it is shown in the opening song. I do not like this shock value culture that Boku no Pico is labelled as, showing off random scenes without context takes away from it's storytelling and pacing which is why it gets such a bad rap. Once people get over this hurdle and try it out as a whole work, I think like me others will appreciate the value of this show taken as a pure hentai.

Story : 9

Boku no Pico has a basic story about a lonely white collar worker finding company in the most unlikely of places, namely in the mouth of a presumably underaged boy who works in his cafe. Although the plot is basic and doesn't really go anywhere, the way the show is edited together and how the storyboard progresses sells the experience to me. (I will try to stay away from specifics so as not to spoil the show) The show starts of in a tense establishing scene that immediately tells us what kind of relationship our main character and Pico have and the 'teasing' aspect of the first few scenes pay dividends as they really make the 'climax' of the show feel earned. We get fleeting shots that tease what is to come and makes us think about the scenes that introduce us to the show which keep the viewer engaged. Thinking critically, this is a hentai and it is supposed to help us get off which is what Boku no Pico excels at as it teases us, then edges us closer and closer until we get the pay off at the end that cements the experience in my mind above and beyond what other hentai has every helped me achieve. It is good for the story to elevate a hentai, however Boku no Pico's pacing and storytelling made the show for me.

The show was made in 2006 so we have to take that into account when marking it up. I gave it such a high score because of how memorable it is able to make it's characters where if the beginning of a scene is shown many people are able to recognize it almost instinctively. As I mentioned in the beginning, I used the 'chicks with dicks' mentality to cope with the show and this is what the artists gave us by making Pico so effeminate. Having this believable female aesthetic to Pico saved me from trashing this show along with the great storytelling. The rest of the elements such as background feel like the anime of the time which didn't stand out too much but never dipped in quality that took you out of the experience

Sound : 8

The sound gets above average marks for including an OP/ED song and the background music which helped build the tense atmosphere of each sexual scene that would've felt lackluster otherwise. Having the music be there then be absent created a sense of unease which mirrored the teasing and edging flow of the show. The sound also helped me cope with the show in having a contrast of masculine and feminine voices for our main leads which strengthens my argument that Pico is a girl since his VA is also a female.

Character : 7

The main letdown for this show was really the character development to the end of the show. At the beginning and middle we get this great character growth that we see very subtly in the little things that the character's say and do. We see how Pico becomes more and more comfortable with Tamotsu as their dialogue changes and he talks more sexually about their past activities yet we still see his shy demeanor when Tamotsu tells him to crossdress. Tamotsu as always stays brazen with what he wants Pico to do which is acceptable as it allows us to witness Pico's personality change little by little until the breakpoint. My only gripe with the show is how rushed and unexplained the ending felt as I wish they had just added some heavier hints leading up to the climax of Pico's dynamic character shift as well as how the ending was resolved.

I swear I'm not gay guys but Boku no Pico took my on a wild ride and it was probably, in the context of hentai helps us achieve, the best hentai I have watched in terms of raw usefulness. It had the best pacing of a hentai with its not too heavy plot and teasing moments that gave us the pay-off we were anticipating towards the end. It was conservative with it's sex scenes which we do not see nowadays as MC-kun usually trips on his own feet and ends up endlessly railing girls for the next 30 minutes. I'd like to shout out Tamotsu, the pedophilic crossdress-fetishizing freak, for making Pico crossdress and helping reaffirm where my sexuality lay. I swear I am still heterosexual and Pico is totally a futanari. I would also like to say that I do not condone child pornography and this should be taken purely as an artistic expression. It's an all in one fap for me boys, it'll take you on a ride that I can guarantee once you get over the moral hurdle of child yaoi porn.

Busted hard, very good. The truck scene was Shakespeare level of story telling. I recommend this for watching "with the bois." I cried due to the amazing orgasm and the story telling as well...which lived up to the hype. The show deserves no less than a 9/10. The pacing of the story was fantastic and I love the character "growth" (wink wink) as the episodes passed by. The art style is amazing...it feels like I was really there. It feels so immersive especially with all the sound effects, showcasing the talent of the sound designers. This is anime of the century, and easily one of ... the best piece of fiction in history.

Although it is a staple of shota anime, I would honestly say this is pretty overhyped. Although I did find it pretty satisfying, the character development compared to the manga is lackluster, and I found some of the animation to be lackluster. The voice acting was quite good, particularly in the sex scenes featuring Pico, but the emotional acting was not up to the quality I expected from what I have heard from people. I am glad that they did create two more OVA's, but this series as a whole has been somewhat disappointing. Overall, I would recommend this to any fans of shota, ... but there are quite a few better ones.

BOKU NO PICO
The most infamous OVA of all time, you can see it everywhere and hear it everywhere as a lame joke, a prank recommendation, or a comment to goof off. But nonetheless, it piqued a lot of interest and curiosity as to what it actually is. And I was one of them.

I had heard it from the internet, from Facebook to Twitter. They would always joke "go watch Boku no Pico" when someone wants a mere anime recommendation. So then my curiosity piqued as I read comments and conversations through. And so, without a minute hesitation, I did my research on Boku ... no Pico and was quite surprised that it was a gay-shota porn. From then on, I read reviews here on MAL and I mostly got warnings that I shouldn't watch this show.; and so I did. After my friend in college joked about Boku no Pico that it piqued my interest again.

And here I am, now reviewing the infamous OVA in the anime industry. After watching PewDewPie reactions, reading reviews, comments and conversations I decided to finally watch it.

I am actually prepared to whatever I may see on the screen, having done my research and all, and I am actually quite surprised myself that I am not surprised. Why? I don't know either. I'm guessing because I had too many spoilers ahead, HA. Anyway, I was actually kind of surprised more about Pico having a girl kind-of-like voice which threw me off. Pico was expressed more feminine in the show, plus that time when Mokkun tried to let him dress like a girl.

The story was pretty straightforward , really. No plot, just thorough sex. I do not know why so many people are agonizing about the this show, I think they are just exaggerating because my expectations where too high when I watched this. I thought it would be more graphic but no, in fact, their vital organs were blurred (or is there raw?). The point is, the thing that only disturbed people here is that Pico was underaged. I know.


BUT TO TELL YOU HONESTLY, throughout that 30 minutes I did not think of Pico as that kind of boy. From the very start, I think Pico knew more about the world than I am. Those green eyes whispers secrets I'll never know. The thing going on between him and Mokkun is not love nor lust nor boredom or whatever it is. Although I can't put it into words, I know that this relationship is almost vital for Pico as well as Mokkun. I don't know perhaps I am the only one who reads too much in this. I can't consider this pedophilia since Pico accepts Mokkun and Mokkun did not do anything harsh or violent to get into Pico's body. It was as if a psychological acceptance. (there!)


There was no character development, well, a psychological one. The art was great for me, the movements are really realistic and the fluid ratio is just right for me. I don't know why the others are exaggerating about the fluid ratio, I think it's okay. There are far more outrageous fluid ratio believe me. The animation is great for a low budget OVA. The opening threw me off, it was that kind of hentai opening that I really hate. (haha, though the opening scene left me laughing hard on the floor though) The BGM was something to praise for, the cicadas, the summer breeze, the timing, and the pauses are making it seem more realistic. I got to hand it to the VA's for such realism. It wrapped the whole package together.



Overall, it was really great. It was not horrid like they said, if you could only see the OVA underneath you'd understand how I felt. Boku no Pico is more psychological hentai to me, and it is really disturbing in a realistic way. Yeah, that was what I felt the entire 30 minutes. If you ask me if I recommend it, YES. YES I WOULD. I'm into yaoi but not shotacon, really (I always discard shotacon tags in anime/manga) and this is my first shotacon OVA. I did not feel disgusted, nor the need to have my eyes taken out of my head. It was really an OVA to let you remind of something.

To all those who are interested, please be warned that although I recommend this you still have your own point of view. I recommend to research first and decide for yourself. To me, I truly did not regret it; I regretted watching Yosuga no Sora more than this really. (that friggin anime series haunted me 'til now, UGH)
